Is it just me who thinks Munguia is a dangerous fight?

Fighters don't have judges. That's a myth. Judges score close rounds for Canelo for reasons that we can debate till the cows come home. You see it as because he's a cash cow, because he's a big name, and that may be a factor. And he wouldn't be the first cash cow who got favorable scoring. But there are other ways to look at it. There's a reason why he's a cash cow and why he's a big name. It's because he's a great fighter who has a fan friendly style, he's an accurate puncher, and not just an accurate puncher, but an accurate power puncher. He also has great defensive and counter punching. It's not crazy to think that judges like his style and that his opponents simply can't match him punch for punch. That's why he wins rounds.

Canelo does not get the respect he deserves as a high level in ring tactician, which results in him winning some rounds that fans disagree with, because fans generally count punches and score rounds primarily on activity. But there are many ways to win a round, and Canelo does a lot of things in the ring that catches the eye of the judges, that most fans don't pay attention to or don't value enough to swing close rounds in his favor. Favorable judging is more than just being the cash cow or being a big name. That's perhaps a part of it, but there's a reason why he's where he is in the sport. It's primarily because of how great of a fighter he is, how effective of a fighter he is, and that he's established himself as the best over a very long period of time. Canelo is a quality fighter and there's no getting around that, no matter how much you take issues with how judges score his matches.

These are my opinions. I don't have to align with common views. Benavidez is using his size and power advantage to beat smaller fighters in a lower division. He won't be a real champion.

They aren't your opinion, no one could hold these you're just trolling.

He won't be a champion because the champion won't face him.

He can move up to light heavyweight and challenge Beterbiev/Bivol. Or Opetaia at cruiserweight.

He has done. He's told Canelo agree to the fight or he'll face Gvozdyk at LHW instead.

But you don't have these opinions really, you're just trolling.

A guy who makes 168 easily doesn't lose belts on the scale.

Benavidez is a 168 pound fighter, he's #1 contender to Canelo, who hasn't made a serious defense of his titles for a very long time. Canelo brags he's the King of Boxing !! ROFLMAO don't you think its time he was ordered to defend against Benavidez or get stripped of all his trinkets?? He's been protected & cossetted since he fought Floyd. He obviously doesn't mind moving up to 175 to cherry pick or drag up a semi retired Jermell Charlo 2 weight divisions. Now he says he can pick & choose who he fights & when like a real King ROFL
Now you claiming Benavidez isn't playing fair he ought to move up because Canelo is afraid to fight him like a real champion would LOL The bare faced cheek accusing Benavidez of cheating when Canelo hasn't fought a legitimate opponent in a 100% fair fight since he fought Floyd. Canelo was brought down to earth by Dmitry Bivol when Dmitry beat him like a drum LOL PLEASE don't claim Dmitry was a weight bully only FOUR OUNCES different between them on weigh in.
Try supporting a real fighter a real champion like Dmitry Bivol he doesn't need Vegas boxing officials & the State Commission covering his back like Canelo obviously does

I seem to remember Floyd missing weight deliberately & having to pay his opponent. but Floyd & Canelo fight under their own rules don't they. Jeez you are very naïve or just a troll

Your attacking Canelo's as if its his fault the judges are favoring him over the other guy? Thats being naive.

But you OK'd Canelo dragging up Jermell Charlo TWO weights to challenge him in a complete farce same with others. Youre accusing Benavidez of using Canelo's own tactics to gain unfair advantage lol
    Give it up man

No my friend, what it is is CORRUPTION!! plain & simple on the part of the judges. This is what has dragged the sport down to its lowest level ever

Your loss. You were crying out for help, asking to be schooled. You and CJ (for your own good) really need to focus on that post and let it sink in. Otherwise I'm afraid you'll continue on a path of delusion.

True, it is corruption on the judges part, but its not Canelo's fault either way. We have no proof he's paid off any judges or anything of the sort to gain their favoritism other than simply being the face of boxing and obviously he wont disavow scorecards that show him winning. No one would.

That's not what @OldSchoolBoxing was saying. Benavidez is boiling down to make 168 to fight smaller guys there because he has the power and size advantage over them. Canelo didn't do that to face Charlo. Charlo moved up 2 weight division to fight Canelo. That's quite a difference.
