People really can't wait 2 days to see how Ngannou does against Joshua before posting all these comparisons threads of him against historical boxers? He beats AJ will people still be taking Bruno?
Of course we will still be taking Bruno. And we will also take Joshua in a rematch. The only way AJ loses is a lack of focus or stupid mistake. Ngannou can not win this fight, only Joshua can lose and give a gift to Ngannou. It only depends on Joshua.
Lol just like Fury right? "He wasn't prepared, didn't focus" (despite him using the almost exact same fight style he did in Wilder 2 and 3). Funny how all these top level heavyweights would just happen to have their off days whenever they are standing in front of Francis.
Fury looked like he didn't train. Joshua would be more of a person who would psych himself out. I think he comes out, sees the limitations in Francis and picks him apart.
You neglected to mention the MMA guy was completely shifaced at the time. Who the **** are Maiquel Falcao and Kaue Mena and why are these nobodies being compared to Canelo and GGG? Okay, I looked it up "In July 2013, Falcão and a fellow MMA fighter Kauê Mena became involved in a struggle inside a gas station's convenience store in Balneário Camboriú after Falcão assaulted a female customer. Moments after striking the alleged assault victim, a relative of the victim came into the store and attempted to punch Falcão, missing, and Falcão knocked him to the ground. As Falcão attempted to flee the scene, he and Mena were confronted outside the gas station and surrounded by THREE OR FOUR male relatives and friends of the assault victim. As one of the men punched Mena another hit Falcão with a PIECE OF WOOD from the front, knocking him out. Falcão was then kicked backwards while receiving more strikes with the makeshift weapon. During this time Mena was punched and kicked while he was on the ground unconscious" Also... "In an interview after the incident, Falcão claimed that the two fighters had come to the gas station from a bar to PURCHASE MORE ALCOHOL" Needless to say, you've totally convinced me that Canelo and GGG would actually magically develop takedown defence, the ability to defend against kicks etc etc and beat elite 170lb MMA fighters.
So basically, Ngannou could beat the entirety of the HW top 10 and boxing fans will still use mental gymnastics rather than accept reality?
H He beated nobody so far. I don't talk about catastrophic THEORETICAL scenarios with you. Ngannou never was in with puncher like AJ. He will taste Real deal. On the other hand...... AJ tasted punch of ATG Wladimir Klitschko and he survived! Klitschko punch technically plus power is faaar more damaging than Ngannoua.
Looked it up? It's on video. You can watch the whole thing. Maiquel Falcao was 31-5 and had just fought for a Bellator Championship and weighed 185lbs. The other guy (Kaue) was 7-0 and 145lbs. Both black belts in BJJ I think. Both started with punching there opponents and both ended up unconscious outside. So if you took a WW boxer and a LHW boxer, and put them in that gas station, you're telling me the same outcome would occur? Fk outta here. That showed you that in a real life scenario, that BJJ shttt was worthless. Everything those two learned was worthless. Had they had better boxing, they would've walked outta there unscathed. But instead end up taking life changing beatings. That Kaue guy never fought again due to the damage he took.
It does say he was hit over the head with a wooden plank. If you took prime Dwight Qawi and have him hit from behind with a wooden plank, he too would likely be knocked unconscious.
