I agree that Canelo is ducking Benavidez but Ward is just a jealous sore bunghole

 

Also wouldn't fight Bute, told him he needed to beat a name fighter first, so Bute made the Froch fight, then Ward turned around and complained why was Bute fighting Froch and not him. I'm a fan of Ward as a boxer but damn he talked a lot of ****. Which in part is why he was never a big draw.

 

Damn it was hard to sit through that interview, Ward just sounds extremely bitter to me to be honest, I get that he's trying to hype American fighters but this is just cringe. Guy really has the audacity to said that Canelo is ducking Terence Crawford and ducked Andrade, I mean come on. Canelo did what Ward couldn't do in completely unifying the 168 pound division as well as getting a clear win over Kovalev. I don't wanna hear any ducking talk from Ward, the guy clearly ducked Lucian Bute, Bivol and Beterbiev and his fight against Chad Dawson was disgraceful, he was basically fighting a corpse.

 

Ward talked for years about facing Golovkin but never made the least effort to get the fight made. When GGG agreed to go up in weight to face him Ward said point blank that he wouldn't fight at 168 which he had insisted for years was the weight he would fight GGG at.
