I think even the version of Ngannou we got could knock off some top 30 level guys.

As far as if he came in at 27. I dont know. Hes big and athletic with raw power and a good chin (although its likely cracked now) but that alone only gets you so far. Theres also the factor that Ngannou the boxer does not get the same route that Ngannou the ex-MMA fighter gets. Ngannou the boxer probably gets fed tons of cans like most up and coming boxers do but then on the flipside he probably just stays in obscurity and never gets offered any big high profile fights either. He was able to get the opportunities he got because he leveraged his name value from being in the UFC.

Yep Ngannou is being overrated because Fury didn’t even train for their fight. AJ did what a top level heavyweight should do to a MMA fighter.

At the very least, he would have been a Dominic Breazeale-level boxer.

    Anthony Joshua 12 (6)/41 29.3%
    Francis Ngannou 8 (3)/42 19%

    JABS
    Joshua 7 (5)/32 21.9%
    Ngannou 5 (2)/21 23.8%

    POWER SHOTS
    Joshua 5 (1)/9 55.6%
    Ngannou 3 (1)/21 14.3%

5 of the 12 punches AJ landed were power punches.
3 of those 5 power punches sent Francis to the canvas, with the last one being a knock out.

    I am little sus.
    • Joshua did not only outbox, outshine, 3x knockdown and scored a legit KO, he put Naganou to sleep.
    • If it Sounds too good - something must be wrong - Joshua is a good fighter, but that good, stable and confident in infighting.
I say fixed. - everything except the "sleep" part, that might occured naturaly, but Naganou did get hit with nonsense shots.

Is that the last time we see a ufc star thrown in with a proper heavyweight champion in his prime? Could end up dangerous was a bad K.o.

Hopefully that KO was sobering enough to be a wake up call but I doubt it.

All this crossover **** and Youtuber **** just feels super tacky. Cant wait for it to be over.

If thats ur opinion then stop watching boxing!! N'gannou got caught with 2 decent rights before the 3rd murderous punch that ended it. AJ showed the difference in levels and what happens when a big hitter lands on a novice boxer.

    No conspiracies here

Yeah, sounds too good to be true - 2 murderous rights, which AJ couldnt even replicate with no-names like Franklin and Helenious, 3rd one is legit but are result of the 2 knockdowns before.

Something aint right, I gotta see Naganous reactions few more times. I am confindent 1st knockdown was a fake.

To much spectacle. I dont buy it.

I think it was all faked, except the KO, but that KO was the result of Naganou getting hit on purpose aswell.
