Usyk is very good defensively and very mobile. He never ate shots like the ones Ngannou did, those were full blast full power shots.

Still leaps and bounds better than watching Canelo fight another no hoper. I’d rather watch exciting knockouts and competitive fights like Parker v Zhang than watch Canelo bully another super welterweight or have the most talented guys like Tank and Crawford sit on their asses not fighting for months on end.

I have much respect for Usyk, but he did not get clipped in the same manner Ngannou did. But, he did take some good shots from AJ. If the Ngannou shots were a 10, Usyk ate 7's.

True. But I can also envision Ngannou now having been cracked back down to reality… accepting UFC’s offer over there after a couple of PFL fights and cashing out going after Aspinall’s belt. Lol :D

Tbh, after getting his chin cracked that bad, and also being 37 and away from MMA for over 2 years now, theres no guarantee he finds success if he returns to MMA either. They were intending to put him against a 6'8 260lb guy who can crack for his PFL debut which now suddenly looks like a much riskier fight than it did before.

How did Canelo bully Charlo when Charlo was the one who kept badgering Canelo for the fight?

When he fights guys his own size, people complain he cherry picks. When he fights guys bigger than him and lose, people say he's been exposed as a fraud.

I think the truth is a lot of people simply hate on the guy or are jealous of his success.

In my book he is Robinson, Armstrong, Langford, Greb, Duran level good, and anyone who says otherwise can go fly a kite.

You mentioned the other weight classes! Knew it would trigger a reaction though, you lot are all the same.

Well considering he had an excellent run back in 2021 I think there’s nothing wrong with people wanting him to continue that path rather than fight soft touch after soft touch. There was 0 shame in losing to Bivol, the guy is class and a bigger man than Canelo. Nothing really got exposed except that Canelo struggles with fleet footed guys/movers.

However lowballing him for a rematch, and then fighting a 40 year old GGG, Ryder, and Jermell is hardly what I would call a stellar run considering his number 1 contender Benavidez is out there ready for a fight.

Honestly why is the first part relevant? Canelo gets badgered by guys like Spence who are three weight classes lower than him, does that mean he should fight them? Picking a super welterweight instead of the number 1 contender in your own division makes little sense.

You can be critical of a fighter, it’s part of sport. I don’t understand why some of you take every critique as hating and like some big personal attack.

Yes, because flyweight to Super Lightweight is popping. No one's talking about Canelo just you. Lol

No that shot at 5m 44s was nothing like what he hit Ngannou with. AJ was not planted there you can see that. I think Usyk has a good chin but if hit with that same punch Ngannou took then he's in trouble. That's the thing though, Usyk is much much harder to catch like that, he's a dozen levels above Ngannou.

    No, he didn't.

If he had, he would have ended up where Ngannou ended up.

In fact, any boxer who ate flush shots like that is getting KO'd.

But that's the difference between a real boxer like Usyk and an MMA guy.

The real boxer knows how to avoid eating such shots.

Usyk would also beat Ngannou, probably by KO.

It would probably take him a bit longer than it took AJ.

Shows how little you know of MMA.

Aspinall is with the UFC, Ngannou with PFL. It won´t happen.
