Frances Ngannou Vs Frank Bruno

Granite chin, athleticism, and dynamite in both hands was always a formula for a potential contender. Much more readily than skills alone (as they usually needed to be top notch to ascend.)

Ngannou is dangerous and I wouldn't count out him giving hell to anybody, but I won't bet on him against any prepared top boxer. I would put my money on Ajagba against him.

Bruno stoppage at any point in the first 6 rounds.

 

Bruno wasn`t as slick or as quick as AJ but I realized last night that the long Francis reach was a myth, they did a boxing measurement of his reach and he only has a 78 inch reach, so I feel Bruno`s jab would be a big problem for Francis.

 

Ngannou is a big, strong, powerful man, but his biggest problem in boxing matches against properly prepared and motivated top 10 world HW boxers, is that he's not a boxer.

 

I agree but I don`t think Bruno would have been a top 10 heavy in every era and that AJ is far better than Bruno was.

 

I think so but head to head Bruno`s long jab would have bothered AJ.

 

Bruno would knock him the **** out

 

Even before the thd result of the AJ fight was known how can people pick against Bruno with this, it’s an insult to the man.
He’d knock him spark out.

 

The big problem for Francis is that Bruno is actually a professional boxer and can fight. We could talk about the holes in Francis' game but it'd be easier to look at what he does well vs not well because there's not much he does well. Bruno can also hit and we saw what happened to Francis every time he got hit. Many were saying he'd take advantage of Joshua's fragility too but how did that work out?

Francis made Joshua look like $50 000 000 today. Whether Joshua has improved or not he's simply not as good as he looked today.

Anyone outright favoring Francis over Bruno at this point would have rocks in their head.
