He had enough power to spark out Wilder and Whyte though didn’t he? Ngannou is a durable guy and has taken huge kicks and punches throughout his MMA career. Joshua has special power hence why he flattened him.
And I was talking about the 2nd fight but i forgot they fought twice. the 1st fight was even worse. Frazier won a UD over Ali a few opponents before getting massacred in 2 by Foreman. That was absolutely not a lucky punch after a competitive fight it was more like the fight we saw. It didn't diminish Frazier from being a top guy following. **** happens in boxing. I get that Francis is only 2 fights in but he's a combat veteran so he doesn't get the same treatment a just turned pro boxer does.
Imo he's a boxer because he did that to Fury. I hate when guys get excused for supposedly not training properly or taking a fight serious. It's their responsibility to be prepared. And if Fury wasn't serious after looking up at Francis from the seat of his pants he doesn't deserve any respect whatsoever. It happened early in the fight and he didn't get up and "beat him from pillar to post " with all the remaining rounds and was given a very questionable nod. He's never getting a pass for that from me.
Had he got the same treatment a just turned pro boxer does, he wouldnt have needed an oxygen mask to wake up. Putting 0/0/0 and 0/1/0 guys with no amateur experience in the ring with world top class boxers is stupid, risky and irresponsible. When the top class guy decides not to take it seriously, like mayweather and fury did, well, it is just only a disresptect to the boxing fans. But when the fight is taken seriously, as any fight should be taken, permanent damage and even death can occur. If a MMA guy wants to take the boxing belts it is perfectly fine, but he needs to earn this right by defeating journeymen and gatekeepers first. Boxing is not a game, and when the skill gap is too big bad things happen.
Exactly what I’ve been saying it’s not like Ronnie O Sullivan trying to play pool and getting battered and shrugging it off this is a massive hard hitting pro who can turn anyone’s lights out with a clean shot Ngannau was a sitting duck and he’s lucky no permanent damage occurred but he needs to stop kidding himself boxing isn’t for him this was a quick cash grab and back to his sport similar to McGregor
Had Fury taken that fight seriously he would have won, no problems at all. Fury beats Francis 9/10 times.
I'm a boxing fan and not really an mma fan at all but we're doing alot of double speak when it comes to Francis. I keep seeing Fury didn't take him seriously. Fury was flat on his ass early in the fight and still couldn't "get serious"? Can't take anything away from Francis amd heavyweight boxing is the best because those things can happen to anyone.
Fury didn't take his training and boxing seriously, that is why his performance was garbage. Anyone with half a brain cell can see that. Stop overrating Francis for fighting an unmotivated Fury.
Fury was acting like a clown the whole fight. No, obviously he didnt take it seriouly. OBVIOUSLY. Not even a blind man could think that he took this fight seriously. He was there "making a show", and only that. You guys can put ngannou in the ring with Zhang now that he is 0/2/0, you will not stop the nonsense until the poor guy is dead on the canvas. Clearly he cant box at top level. If Zhang leaves him on a wheelchair instead of killing him, then you can put him in the ring with Wilder. You all rather kill ngannou than to admit that he cant box for **** and admit that you were wrong.
After Fury was on his ass, he still had 7 rounds to get serious & all he could do was land illegal elbows to eke out a SD Apparently a lifetime of boxing training wasn't enough for him to overcome a rank novice to boxing who surprised him with a KD even though he had 7 more rounds to do so. People then cope by claiming that he didn't "train", it can never be that he might not be as good as people have been led to believe
Fury was there to grab the money, not to destroy ngannou, because clearly he didnt give a **** about ngannou. A 115-113 fight was more than enough for that lazy piece of crap. In his mind it was just an exhibition, nothing more. AJ was there to win the fight, and was about to kill ngannou right on the spot. That's what happens when stupid fights are allowed, bad things happen. Had ngannou been forced to prove that he was good enough to try to take the belts (or just to be in the same ring as the top guys in the division), he would have been knocked out cold by the likes of Yoka and his life would not have been put at risk. It was not like that and he needed an oxygen mask to wake up. Boxing is not a game, stop playing boxing, guys.
Then Fury should have had no problem putting him down right? He was finished by the 1st fight Frazier beat him too?
