    It wasn't the same punch.

Whyte beat Povetkin by KO but not Helenius, so Helenius has a better chin than Povetkin ?

He didn't land that same bomb on Ruiz. He landed hard shots and Ruiz came back like a champ no doubt, but I never seen AJ load up and step into a big punch like that. Plus, it landed as flush as it gets. Easy work for AJ. He did exactly what he was supposed to do with a guy that had only 1 pro boxing match under his belt.

God, I would love to take credit for all of this, but @IntentionalButt the still occasional RBR guy was the man who started that ESB tradition, and he knew when he tapped me as a replacement, that I valued and respected tradition and would keep that particular one going, that and I'm a good scorer and a bit of a showman like himself.:sisi1 So full credit goes to him, although maybe I deserve a little for keeping it going.

Bit of a career turnaround for Joshua.. & it took a non boxer to help do it.. he was seen as washed a couple of fights ago.. a mental midget who'd get starched by Fury & Wilder.. now Wilders getting clowned by Parker & Furys still wishing he'd signed the 4th with delboy.. how times have change.. whatever anyone thinks of AJ he righted the boxing universe this weekend & that we can all be thankful for.. we also won't have to suffer the regurgitating of the African sob story or Ngannous arrogant dismissal of boxing .. AJ smacked that lad all the way back to Cameroon , rejoice

This comment is hysterical. I’ve barely gambled since 2020, I’ve probably laid so few bets in the last few years I could count all of them on my fingers.

I had some spare cash, and I really thought this fight was not going to distance so I said **** it, I’ll put a bet on it.

For someone who has no idea who I am, you sure do assume a lot.

If I am a junkie, how come I’ve barely bet since 2020? I invest far more money in the stock market than I do compared to gambling. Like, hundreds of times more by comparison.

Kickers are different. I meant stand up with hands, the absolute best in MMA is low-tier in boxing.

Positive feedback on this is a rare treat; usually it's people whining how much they hate it. Which of course delights me and provides incentive to never stop.

Cro Cop was an outlier. Besides his elite kickboxing background he also had legit amateur boxing pedigree as well. Not many guys in the MMA world like that.. especially back then. There's a small % of MMA guys past-present who could transition to boxing and do well(mostly in higher weights) and they almost always have a striking background. Kickboxers/muay thai guys have always had an easier time making successful transitions to boxing as well. I think the only way an MMA fighter wins a legitimate world title in boxing is if they're a generational sort of athlete who was raised in the gym absorbing all facets of fighting from a young age.

I think he was hoping for a break. As if it would take Joshua a second to feel comfortable attacking his line. Ngannou is just so STRONG, but not coordinated.

AJ actually landed a massive bomb on Ruiz after Ruiz was knocked down and the fight resumed. You can hear it.

 I think IB got slapped with a few accusations of racism for writing out boxers full names. I am certain Manny Pacquiao was one of them.

AJ did land hard shots, but the way he stepped into the blow that stopped Ngannou looked more devastating than anything he landed on Ruiz. In any case, I never wat to get smacked by either punch. LOL

    Still the funniest **** ever.

And some of the simps for Thai culture would get their panties in major twists, raging at me in their best Greta Thunberg voice, "HOW DARE YOU disrespect this fighter and not take him seriously by calling him by his 'chosen fighting name' (aka whoring ass corporate sponsorship name) - JimBob RedBull CreditCard LuxuryAirliner RibbedCondom? :smiley_1140:"
