Best for best its Povetkin. Top quality skillful banger, just outsized by the giants, not so much with Parker.

ill go with a UD for Povetkin. Maybe not as fast but his punches meant alot more. And he had lots of volume.

Could be a close fight, really. I wouldn't have said Povetkin would KO him years ago, but seeing Parker dropped by Chisora and stopped by Joyce and now dropped multiple times again, I'm wondering whether Povetkin actually would stop him.

Prime for prime it would be close, likely SD. Would favour Parker based on hand speed and chin

Fascinating matchup when you think about it. Povetkin was a compact destroyer though, he has the edge.

Povetkin for me. He had that aggressive edge that Parker doesn't have. Parker tends to settle down and take it slow if the opponent lets him. Povetkin was looking to turn his opponent into mashed potato at every opportunity. His workrate and punch selection were both better. I actually think it would have been a good fight, and that Parker is one of those guys that will give more if pushed.

    Pov.

Parkers powers of recovery can be most impressive, but when Pov clipped him he'd have finished the job - and he had the skills and ring IQ to ask the sorts of questions that Wilder and Zhang couldn't.

Parkers a very good fighter, but Pov was a very good fighter who was also dangerous... Either Pov by KO/TKO mid rounds or decision.

    Prime Povetkin.

Povetkin the higher ring IQ and carrys the power to KO Parker.

Same... Parkers no mug, he's a solid operator with decent skills.

This is more a 60-40 to 70-30 sort of fight than an absolute blowout.

Whyte got folded in half with one of my all time favourite knockouts, he avenged the loss but that knockout will live forever, I watch it at least 5 or 6 times a week.
I think a prime povetkin would knockout Parker

Prime Pov was always a level above Parker, but Parker's toughness and general gameness would see him to the finish line. Physically and stylistically they're actually quite similar, but Povetkin was a lot more educated in his attacks while Parker tends to rely on his speed and explosiveness to land punches even now. They both at their best punch with about the same power, but Povetkin would use angles, timing, counters and accurate and clever combinations to knock his opponents senseless, while Parker would be swatting away at guys round after round and not putting a dent in them.
