I think most people know Floyd has one of the best mandibles in the sport of boxing as he has never ever been dropped by a punch in his entire career. The only time he was ever "Down" was when he touched down purposely because his hand broke. JMM vs Pacquiao 4 - Yes Trinidad/Vargas left hook - Yes Hearns/Duran - I'll say Yes to this one but I could see Floyd getting a bit wobbly after taking that peach Sergio Martinez/Paul Williams 2- I'll say Yes, but could see Floyd a bit hurt Groves/Froch 2 - Perhaps not, could also see him taking it but hurt
A punch made him lose balance and he touched a glove on the canvas. It's technically a knockdown. All knockdowns are from a loss of balance. Not all knockdowns are from a legal landing punch.
First of all.................this should be in the Classic section: But just to answer your questions: JMM vs Pacquiao 4 - yes Trinidad/Vargas left hook - No Hearns/Duran - No (be serious) Sergio Martinez/Paul Williams 2- No Groves/Froch 2 - No All of those men had arguably sturdier chins than Floyd (except maybe Groves) and were physically larger than Floyd. Floyd didn't have a super human chin, his chin is far better than his detractors claim, but he ain't Mike Mccallum/James Toney/Bernard level etc.........
Not true. He was already off balanced before the touch of the glove, so it was correctly ruled a slip and no point was taken off.
He just fell over? and Zab managed to magically manage to hit him on the way down? That's even more embarrassing
I believe it was due to a slight tangling of the feet between both individuals, which led him to him being off balanced. Thankfully, he didn't fall over and he touched down with his glove. It was a slip and ruled as such.
LOL shot Mosley nearly KO'd Floyd with single punch, and DeMarcus Corley had him badly hurt, but you think he takes best Hearns' punch that KO'd Duran? What a troll you are. Floyd would've needed a stretcher and an oxygen mask after such a punch.
