One of my former working colleagues works today for ESPN / Walt Disney in the USA and helps to produce NHL Ice Hockey and here they also add artificial spectator sound to make the TV experience better for the viewers. It´s about creating a product that is attractive. Let's be honest: Is it particularly exciting to see an event from Saudi ? In my opinion : No.
No. I had to keep myself awake on Friday night thanks to the late timing and the lack of atmosphere. Very grateful for the rapid KO!
If reports of Eubank-Crawford are accurate, Eubank will be thumbing his nose at the little drug cheat.
Seems to be taking longer than one might have expected. I'm sure we would have heard by now if Benn had been cleared. I guess someone could ask Hearn or Benn. But they would only lie.
Imagine if Eddie Hearn had behaved properly in this case then I'm pretty sure that Conor Benn's way back to a UK boxing arena would have been easier.
"I'm not close it Koogs, I just know he's innocent, the board are liars, his case is watertight and he's cleared to box Koogs"
Dillian Whyte didn't say boo after testing positive recently and his case is done and dusted, and he is ready to box again in the UK. Hearn and Benn have instead tried to grandstand and lie from the moment Benn's positive tests became public and have only succeeded in pi55ing people off, including to their determent, the BBBofC. Hearn isn't a fool and he will have learned a huge lesson from the mess he and Benn have made of not just his case, but their reputations as well.
Please explain this. I am not defending Hearn on this matter. He has conducted himself poorly and damaged his company’s reputation. However it wasn’t him who told the Board to “do one”. It wasn’t him who decided to go on Piers Morgan. It wasn’t him who disputed the WBC’s reasoning for defending him. That’s all on Benn and his management team. From what I’ve seen, Benn has harmed his own career far more than Hearn has. Do you know more than the average person might on this? Some context would be interesting.
I have previously written in this forum that Eddie Hearn has handled the case surrounding Conor Benn in an incredibly bad way - so bad in fact that there are quite a few people who don´t want Conor Benn to be allowed to box in the U.K. If Eddie Hearn had kept himself humble and behaved properly then I think Conor Benn would have had a better chance for a UK Comeback than the one he has today. By the way : I have built up a fairly large network within professional boxing over the past 30 - 35 years.
