I can't argue against your opinion, only state my own... supported by facts.
At 130, FMJ was blazing fast and had a high KO percentage. There is no question that he was an exciting fighter here.

As he moved up, he lost some of his physical prowess, but he put on huge events and still dominated.

Corley was a war. Gatti was a savage display. Judah was entertaining, as was DLH, Mosley, Hatton, Cotto, Ortiz.

When he got old, he showed us one last flash against Canelo in maybe a top 5 peformance of his career... then showed his vulnerabilities vs. Maidana in a couple of compelling matchups.

Overall, he didn't have a boring career. You are the one foraging through a 50 fight career and picking out his least exciting performances and calling a HOF career "garbage".

No "boring" fighter has ever captivated the sport the way he did.

    Floyd vs Jesus Chavez
    Floyd vs Castillo
    Floyd vs Ndou
    Floyd vs Gatti
    Floyd vs chop chop
    Floyd vs Judah
    Floyd vs DLh
    Floyd vs Hatton
    Floyd vs Mosley

We're all good exciting offensive performances from Mayweather IMO. Not a boring fighter at all, tho he has had some lackluster performances just like any other great fighter has.

Unfortunately, Mayweather is so polarizing that he often elicits absurd comments from either end of the spectrum (Mayweather was a boring bum who never fought anyone in their prime! .....to....Mayweather the best eva, yo! Can't no one touch Floyd!!)

In reality, he was not the "best eva, yo!"---he's not even the best of my lifetime--but rarher a brilliant fighter and a certified ATG. And that should be enough.

Floyd wasnt really boring if you understand what was happening. With that said, Floyd also wasnt as good as the mythology that surrounds him.

Floyd lost JLC1 and shouldve gotten a draw in Maidana 1 and DLH. A case could be made that Floyd lost Maidana 1 also.

Floyd clearly and cleanly beat Pacman, Cotto, Canelo, Mosley, Hernandez, Corrales, JMM (after reneging on the CW), Hatton, and a few others. Floyd was an ATG - no doubt about it - but this whole undefeated TBE nonsense is just that, nonsense. Not only should Floyd have lost (he DID lose JLC1) but he would have lost if he fought DLH younger in his career, potentially Manny in 2009, and potentially prime, young Mosley. Not to mention the fab 4/5 might have swept Floyd. He was not TBE lol but still an ATG and could hang w anyone

Just Pacquiao. Remember, he was out-thrown and out-landed against Mayweather.

Floyd/Castillo 1 was the one fight he could've lost.

    Floyd/DLH wasn't close.

Floyd/Maidana was competitive, but clearly 7-5 for Floyd.

I mean we only have 2 Benny Leonard fights on film and he was only prime in one. I don't think that's a big enough sample size.

I could be wrong but if you can find film of fights that aren't Lew Tendler and Jimmy Mclarnin I'd be ready to watch them!
