Christy Martin vs Lucia Rijker

Christy Martin. That broad could punch!

 

I just realised that I don’t think I know a single female boxers name. Who to start with?

 

I've only seen Rijker fight and Martin better be awesome to be able to hang with her

 

Martin usually competed in higher weight divisions than Rijker. If Christy Martin has to enter the ring and fight Lucia Rijker at Super Lightweight, with a real same day weigh in, then Rijker wins by decision.

Rjiker is the best female boxer of all time..
A proper technical fighter with serious power.
Rjiker every time.

 

Lucia would have destroyed any woman fighter in her time.

 

Christy Martin made women’s boxing. She fought legit fights often as the chief supporting bout on undercards of Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, JC Chavez and more.

She was supposed to fight Lucia but Rijker was injured in training and pulled out. The fight never happened. Rijker had the reputation as the next big thing in women’s boxing and was reputed to be better, although smaller, but we never got to find out.

For those who don’t know, Christy’s husband tried to kill her in 2010. She was stabbed several times and shot in the torso. He left her for dead, but she survived. He’s in prison now and should rot there.

I don’t know if Rijker was better, but I know there’s no way in hell that she was any tougher.

Women’s boxing owes a lot to Christy Martin.

 

Christy was as game as they come but,imo Ryjker was the better fighter.
