Joe Joyce vs Deontay Wilder in the works for "a summer showdown"

Wilder would annihilate Joyce. Kash Ali was landing at will and damn near lasted the 10 round distance(lame ref counted him out)

 

The Wilder of 5 years ago would KO Joyce inside 3 rounds. However, I think Wilder is finished mentally and Joyce should be able to bully Wilder and make him suffer to a boring points win.

This fight should have happened a while ago.

 

Agreed. At this point, I think Wilder is more 'done' than Joyce.

A lot of extremely fun tricks from Joyce in his last fight. Old Foreman flashbacks as far as the idea (if not execution) goes.

 

Joyce may just grind down shot old wider if he doesn't throw many punches again.

Joyce looked terrible but if you can't stop that constant rolling forward your gonna have a long long night.

 

I think wilder wins this, Kash was landing power bombs on Joe, he can't afford to take too many of those from the bronze bomber

 

Yeah, Joyce seemed pretty lackluster last night against a guy about 40 lbs. lighter who managed to slip a lot of his shots. I'm not really sure who wins between Wilder and Joyce; the one thing I'm sure of is that I don't really care....

 

Joyce KO'd Parker so we already know what he'll do to Wilder

 

Parker beat Zhang though so by your boxing Maths Joyce should beat Zhang

 

Literally anything could happen in this fight, Joyce could storm out and drop Wilder for a KO. On the other hand Stevie Wonder could hit Joyce with an over hand right. Hmm? Wilder gets there first.

 

Wilder flatlines him inside 6. Styles make fights, and Wilder is much quicker with a huge punch to deliver. It's not good that Ali was able to hold on for so long landing at will.

 

I feel Joyce will just get Ngannoued if he tries to rely on his chin against Wilder.

Wilder should be fighting Zhang or retiring - nobody wants to see Slow Joyce again after that embarrassment last night.
