I think Renyo has a point. I was going to say Tszyu-Fundora would have had no problem being a head liner instead of Thurman until thinking about it and saying it out loud, it doesn't sound as good TO THE BOXING FANS.

But personally I think it is a better match up. Way too inactive old Keithy has been and he is exactly that, has been. A has been.

Never won but came in 2nd one year and usually finished close to the top. One year I did win the KO championship though.

 

This is just me but I think Thurman had a WTF am I doing moment. He is 35 and haven't fought in ages. Moving up in weight to face a hard hitting slugger with a chin. Thurman will get stretch out cold in my opinion and he realize this. On top of all this who knows what he will make on Amazon PPV. Is it worth getting knocked out cold.

 

Exactly why I won’t bother engaging is serious discussion about the fight with him. He will just say some dumb **** like “Tim is straight up and down no special effects” “he is made to order” or if I bring up the fact that Tim is fighting a giant like Fundora on short notice (something his hero Floyd would never do) he would be like “No excuses”

 

Exactly Tszyu deserves mad props for taking on an awkward giant like Fundora at short notice also the extra pound to lose will make a difference but not many will appreciate that.

 

If I was Tims manager I would not except this fight because this is a totally different style.
