How can you even believe Ali would compete today? He was a small cruiser tweener that bullied even smaller opposition. For me people like you are so deluded its sick. I have watched alot of film studies of Ali since over 10 years. He Sux compared to today. He only relied on size and reflexes...

Its funny how you idol worshippers cant even argue for Ali. If you want to learn something. Compare his KO ratio above certain weights. Then compare it with modern SHW's and see the hard cold facts. Same also applies for chin and knockdowns. I have looked into it many times and for me it was no surprise at all. Just evolution of the sport. Bigger is better and if that was a false statement Top heavyweight Boxers would be like the division was back in the 60's when the so called GOAT dominated.

Just go thru the ring annual ratings and look up the average weight year by year and see it for yourself. The trend is pretty clear. But I dont know **** about boxing the stats are all false I suppose?

Many modern heavyweights have much more fat on them. Cruisers can fight at heavyweight and they don't have to put on much. When Usyk moved up the difficulty didn't just suddenly increase. More Cruisers will move up in the future, and prove you wrong again

Just look at their bodies and compare with modern Cruisers...

 

They look completely fine in the first picture evident by it being their first fight

In their trilogy Ali was 225 and still looked normal by today's standards

 

Look at the pic with measurements and say that with a straight face comparing it to modern Cruisers. Usyk looks much better at 220 then Ali did there against Frazier...

Also no problem having some fat. But to put on fat as a small cruiser like Ali or Usyk is not the way to go against SHW's. You should know that.

 

You mean, he's fought one massively overrated SHW who was previously KO by a cruiserweight with 70 lbs of fat in Andy Ruiz.

Let's take a look at Usyk's stellar run at HW.

Fatass HW Chazz Witherspoon who was demolished by another fat cruiserweight in Chris Arreola.

Derek Chisora who was also KO by another cruiserweight in David Haye.

Daniel Dubois who technically KO Usyk with a body shot.

Very impressive.

Mind you, Usyk is weighing 220 lbs on average.

 

Usyks added muscle and fat. 212lb prime Ali would fit and still be big enough to fight at heavyweight.

 

Chisora legit won the same first tow rounds that Usyk gives away to everybody. Other round was even, and Usyk outlanded him in the all the rest, staggering him in the seventh.

I would say that as much as I love Usyk and think he is a tough night for anyone, prime Tyson...that is, between the Berbick and Spinks fights...was a human wrecking ball. I don't know that I would back anyone to beat him.
