'Who is he to offer me any anything? I can make the same money fighting anyone else' and 'Pay me 200m and I'll fight him' don't jibe.

They are outright contradictions from a man hiding behind shades for a press conference about a less lucrative fight that no one asked for in order to hide his humiliation.

That's what you're saying, everywhere else it's well over 100 to 200. If those numbers are available for a lesser fighter Canelo would be ******ed not to get it himself and you'd be ******ed to think it's a bad idea from his perspective. This is the same guy who vacated the WBC belt in 2016 when he was mandated to fight GGG. He tried to age GGG by fighting him 1.5 years later and he would have still lost if the judges didn't mug GGG in a daylight robbery.

Canelo does the numbers he does while giving all his fights away for free in the country he has the most fans....I don't think anyone here is delusional enough yet to believe David is box office. David Benavidez did all the "work" that was required by becoming interim champ 2 years ago and the mandatory a year ago. Canelo is the one treating a fight with him differently than a fight with anyone else at 168...
