It's one of the most blatant ducks I can recall. I mean, it's his choice, but he needs to be stripped. Instead the crooked sanctioning bodies enable him.

Just shows he knows exactly what we know about David's weight.

The email fear detector inspector is here.....this is silly. Either he knows exactly what those glasses mean, or that's a hilarious coincidence.
with Fury's purse vs Usyk being reported anywhere from well over 100 million to 200 million why shouldn't he go for it wtf? He's the biggest name in the sport with really only this fight left that could warrant a purse that high because of demand. Why not? You guys are crazy. And he's gonna get the money watch.

Fantasy. That fight wont even make half that in revenue, and they are HW's. Canelo did the classic duck tactic of pricing himself out, and you still defend it. Well done.

Exactly when are you going to learn that you don't promote a potential fight and negotiate 200m dollar paydays by saying your opponent is a nobody who brings nothing to the table? The statements:

'Who is he to offer me any anything? I can make the same money fighting anyone else' and 'Pay me 200m and I'll fight him' don't jibe.

They are outright contradictions from a man hiding behind shades for a press conference about a less lucrative fight that no one asked for in order to hide his humiliation.

You are clutching at this new purse demand while ignoring everything else he said.

When someone tells you they don't want to fight someone, believe them.

Canelo a few years ago would have taken this without hesitation. Bivol has taken his soul.

He actually rejected a Benavidez offer 2 years ago, and chose Bivol instead. He never wanted to fight him.

Choosing Bivol over Benavidez is understandable, but theres no excuses now.

That's what you're saying, everywhere else it's well over 100 to 200. If those numbers are available for a lesser fighter Canelo would be ******ed not to get it himself and you'd be ******ed to think it's a bad idea from his perspective. Read between the lines and he laid all the points out about their fight in a couple of minutes.

If it wasn't obvious before, it's obvious now.

This is the same guy who vacated the WBC belt in 2016 when he was mandated to fight GGG. He tried to age GGG by fighting him 1.5 years later and he would have still lost if the judges didn't mug GGG in a daylight robbery.

He said "I'm the one thst brings the money" is he wrong? Benavidez just sold 60k for rumored to be 2 consecutive fights. Canelo does the numbers he does while giving all his fights away for free in the country he has the most fans....I don't think anyone here is delusional enough yet to believe David is box office. Um there were no shades in the presser, that was a quick interview on his way out. He pretty much summed up his thoughts on the fight and said without saying what needs to happen. Like it or not, nothing he said didnt make sense in his position. Now team Benavidez needs to get to work.

Yes, Benavidez sold 60k... so why on God's earth is Canelo asking for 200m to fight him? Did he ask for this to fight Munguia or Berlanga?

David Benavidez did all the "work" that was required by becoming interim champ 2 years ago and the mandatory a year ago. Canelo is the one treating a fight with him differently than a fight with anyone else at 168...

.... And you need to stop posting as if you are braindead and ask yourself 'why?'. WHY?

If you can't even be a reasonable adult and do that, why bother responding to me?
