Canelo is not doing himself any favors by his comments there.

 

The price range for Canelo/Benavidez has been set. It was a brilliant move by Canelo.

 

I think Canelo was making a point that nobody dictates anything to him and that the comment he made about if they offer him 150-200 mill wasn't meant to be taken seriously. Still a bone head comment to make by Canelo. Hopefully he fights Benevidez next otherwise that comment will bite him in the ass down the line.

 

Where is this reports coming from exactly? Fury took like 40 millions for Ngannou. The only one making absurd claims over Fury purse are Simon Jordan who is brainless Fury fanboy and was already proven that he is talking complete bollocks when it comes to purses.
He was reporting back in the day about Wilder - AJ and Fury - Usyk purse split, which turns out to be complete false.

I'm pretty sure Fury won't take more than 50-70m. for Usyk fight.

That's what I hate about it most, the organizations do what they do and get away with it even though it's right in everybody's face that it's corrupt as all get out. I am usually extremely forgiving and try to be non-judgmental, but those score cards from Canelo's past are just too corrupt to ignore.

He has made loads of money, good for him. But as a boxing fan, I couldn't f****** care less. Why should I care about how much money he's making? I just want to see the guy fight.

 

The fight could've been made 2-3 years ago, so exactly when did Canelo enter these latter stages? The truth is that Canelo has conducted his entire career like this. The only difference is that he has gotten more arrogant and dismissive now.

 

It's a real shame because Canelo's record is chock-full of good names, I am not doubting his level of competition. But so many cards were absolutely unacceptable in my opinion, and apparently in the opinion of many because there's been endless posts about how crooked the situation is.
