I’d say he has several all time great chins
    Under 1 flabby beard.

Who were Ruiz's best scalps when he beat Joshua? Resume don't win fights it wins rank. Ruiz struggled with an fossilized inactive Arreola which is why I think prime Arreola beats him. Agree to disagree

Ruiz avoided everyone except payday AJ.
So it's hard to properly judge his chin anyway. We need more data, like how does he take shots from Wilder, Fury, Whyte, Povetkin, Joyce, Zhang etc.
There's no way he has the best HW chin just by the fact he's undersized at HW, not a true HW.

Ruiz was never very good it's just he exposed AJ's bully mentality and lack of heart. AJ is actually better than him, obviously, but is mentally weak. Ruiz also had nothing to lose in that fight and so just went for it.

The Arreola fight definitely exposed Ruiz and his mythical chin. Arreola was a pretty good puncher in his prime, but look how many shots ex-LHW Adamek took in that fight and also the obese Pole.

Ruiz's chin seems to be based on a single moment where he got dropped by the first clean shot AJ landed but didn't get KO'd by it. After that he took another shot. That's it. The rematch had AJ running around terrified and point fighting so Ruiz survived 12 rounds.

Nah not even close, the combo that dropped him from Joshua, Ray Mercer took combo's like that from Lewis multiple times without even blinking.

Ruiz has a good chin and recovery powers but he can't just walk through bombs like nothing which guys like Mercer, McCall and Tua did time and time again. I don't think Ruiz even has the best chin in era, Hrgovic and Parker have better chins.

Foreman’s chin in his second career is the best I have seen. Never came close to being sat down.

Ducking the question eh? No seriously, who were Arreola's best wins? Hey they don't even need to be in his prime, just in his entire career. Ruiz had a razor close fight with Parker before Joshua so at least he proved he was on a similar level. And of course he also has Ortiz on his resume. Who has Arreola got? If you duck the question again I'll know the answer.

It's an irrelevant question in this particular case. Records don't win fights, the fighter does

We already saw Ruiz have problems with an over the hill inactive Christobal. This means I'm giving a prime Arreola an excellent shot. It's physical proof. If you wanna deny it fine.

I definitely wouldn't of written Arreola off had they fought in their primes. Ruiz would play into Arreola's style and vice versa and I'd expect a war for 12 rounds. Ruiz is not doubt more talented but he's also smaller and in even worse physical shape than Arreola, it wouldn't be an easy fight.
