Mike Tyson had a better career than Larry Holmes.

Holmes successfully defended against top tenners Evangelista, Ocasio, Shavers, Leroy Jones, Zanon, LeDoux, Berbick, Cobb, Witherspoon and top fivers Weaver, Cooney, and Bey. Edit: Cruiserweight Ocasio might have been top 5 according to @Unforgiven(6/23/21)

When I look at this line-up it stands out to me that Holmes was habitually fighting easy touches and the competitive matches like Witherspoon and Williams were due to overlooking green opponents, no rematches given. Weaver and Cooney were, for the most part the only intentionally difficultfights.

    1. Men who Holmes did not fight:
Dokes was Ring annual number 4, 3, and 1 for 80--82.
    Coetzee was 8 in 78, 3, in 79, 5 in 80 and 81, 1 in 83, and 5/6 in 84/86.
Tate was second only to Holmes in 79
84 and 85 belonged to Pink, number 1 in each year.
    Page was 2 in 83 and 84, and 5 in 85

Not upsetting, just kinda pitiful. How many alts do you need to continue making silly posts?

Alts ? I registered my account for the first time eight days ago. You are really embarrassing yourself with your paranoid outbursts.

Wrong. Not only you are paranoid, but you are also ignorant. Youngest undisputed hw champion is Floyd Patterson, not Mike Tyson.

Perhaps you should go back to designing Tyson t-shirts like a good little fanboy and let grown ups do the talking, ok ?

Who was the first guy to unify three belts at heavyweight in the three belt era?

    Mine?

I haven’t got the time for an alt.

I already spend too much time on here as it is.

I already corrected him on this a ways back. He is demonstrably invested in this false narrative. It’s one thing when what you believe comes down to a contentious opinion, but an objective & easily verifiable fact being denied is a brain condition. Don’t waste your time.

No idea who Wass is, but again, no thanks. I will stay here and continue to school you.

Nope, Mike Tyson became truly undisputed after he beat the lineal & The Ring Magazine champion Michael Spinks. He was 21 years, 363 days old. Floyd Patterson became the undisputed champion when he was 21 years, 331 days old. They are month apart to be fair, but it's still not factual.

it doesn't matter, they both just matured very quickly. Remember that Tyson became No. 1 HW already in 1986, if the fight with Spinks was moved a month forward or back, would it really change anything? Tyson was much better at the age of 20 than any other heavyweight was at the age of 20. Better than Patterson, Liston, Foreman, Ali, Louis, Holmes or anyone. To be fair, I will write that at the age of 30, each of them was better than 30-year-old Tyson because people develop differently and there are legends about what happened to Tyson.

I'm levels above you and will continue to be so. Doesn't matter that you make multiple alts because you're always stuck on stupid. Now do as you're told and get back on that yellow bus...
