Spent all last week waiting for free tickets to pop up for the Warren card at the NEC and they never came. No interest in tonight’s show and the freebies are there. Typical!

 

If Mainoo doesn't start for England then I'll watch this tonight rather than tomorrow morning.

I didn't watch the magnificent 7 but it looked a great card on paper so assume it sold well and didn't need the giveaways to fill it up?

Absolutely no surprises that tonights card is giving freebies away - it hasn't sold at all and it looks / sounds terrible on tv if empty.hopefully enough freebies are given away to make it a half decent atmosphere in there tonight for those attending.

On a side note, be careful posting this - I hope your prepared for the backlash of matchroom fc "bUT wE DoNt givE AwAY TiCKeTs" - I posted something about it once and they were frothing at the mouth in denial......until I posted a link of the freebies for anyone that wanted them. The silence was golden as they were put back in their boxes, bless em - not the sharpest tools in the box are they!

I work for a charity that’s part of Tickets for Good, where they often end up in the few days before a fight. Got a relative that works for the NHS so Blue Light Tickets is often a good source as well. There’s a few seat filler sites anyone can sign up for, but I don’t tend to get much boxing come up for me there, think others do though.

Yeah was a good card and had a couple of decent ticket sellers on it, Heaney especially. Thought it might have been a bit too big an arena though, but seemingly not. Crowd looked good there and a decent atmosphere for most of the night really. A bit of a rarity for British boxing these days, but nice to see.

 

A good main event on a Matchroom show that looks good on paper.

 

Great undercard too. A shame Callum French vs Jeff Ofori II got cancelled as well. 3 fantastic back-to-back British shows from Queensbury, Matchroom and Boxxer on TNT, DAZN and Sky. The only winners are the fans!

I'll miss the undercard unfortunately but I hope Troy Williamson gets the job done over Davis, I think Williamson will pull off an upset. Ryan vs Harper is difficult to call but Ryan should outbox her. I wouldn't be shocked if Zepeda stops Smith. If Smith gets through I wonder who he will fight next. Maybe he could fight Paro if he loses to Matias or even Jack Catterall.

Just realised, by logging in for the first time in a while, this is the last weekend of my DAZN annual sub.
