    All credit to Smith for getting the job done in the way he did. But from the opening bell I noticed Smith looked larger and stronger. Zepeda did have a good first two rounds, but he didn't really show anything after round 2.

    Again all credit to Smith, but I think that a prime Zepeda can do what he did in rounds 1 and 2 much longer to make it a much more interesting fight. At 34 this was his last chance, I think he's retiring

    At 34 he still chins plenty of fighters and makes money.

    Ive been on the sauce since 3pm but slowly sessioning.

    If no more live sport ill probably wane and go bed in about an hour.

    I had family things going on today so I only got to see bits and pieces of the bouts. That being said, judging by what I've read on this RBR thread, we finally got a card where the judges did a good job from beginning to end. Have to appreciate that when it happens.

    Zepeda is hardly at Barosso level yet.

    I mean hes still more dangerous and fresh. And look what Barosso has done lately.

    Smith looked bigger but that was a quality body shot. Sneaky, fast and unexpected.

    I'm sure prime Zepeda would've done better. He might have won. But, as I've been saying forever, British Slickness is the gold standard and we saw that on display again tonight when we compare what Smith did to Zepeda to what Hitchins did. I was disgusted by Hitchins extremely unmanly performance against Zepeda. Sure he won wide but he stunk the joint out so bad the stench still haunts the venue to this day.

    Zepeda probably should retire. He's a classy operator, had a great career, and he's had more than his fair share of bad luck and he really should've and deserved to become a world champion.

    Well plenty of up comers. Or just look at what Barroso has done lately. Its not that hard to figure out man. Or he could just go study and make money in IT or something.
