Benavidez v the winner of Bivol v Beterbiev

Mismatch or not, it's the correct course for his career.

I think that he can handle Bivol and Beterbiev -while a level above- will be 40 soon.

We'll see, but he is where he needs to be.

 

There is nothing is Benavidez' resume that shows me he could deal with Bivol or Beterbiev.

If anything, smaller Caleb Plant was able to outbox him for several rounds.. so.

David’s not up against the little guys anymore at 168 where he could just tank everything they throw then bulldoze right through them. He’s up against the big boys at 175 who are just as big as him, who hit harder than him, box better than him, are tougher than him and are more experienced.

However, if he gets the opportunity to beat either of them then my hats off to him.

 

I think David can stop them both. He will still be bigger and faster than them. Beterbiev went life and death with Yarde yet people thinking he's some unbeatable terminator. Bivol's great movement would vanish after his body gets worked. I doubt he even fights David tbh.

 

David is fighting Canelo in September or November - book it!

 

Nah dude. Benavidez gets wrecked by Beterbiev. Tailor Made. Bivol schools him because Plant held his own. It was competitive

 

I think both guys beat him. Bivol by schooling, Beterbiev by KO (corner stoppage).

Some people here see Benavidez as some unstoppable force, yet nothing I've seen him do makes me believe that. And its crazy when you compare Benavidez and Beterbiev's resume and come to the conclusion Beterbiev his not some kind of terminator but somehow Benavidez is? The fact Canelo says he doesn't want to fight him (or seems to be pricing himself out of a fight)only amplifies this feeling for some.

 

Benavides hasn’t earned a shot at either of those guys. Both Bicol and Beterbiev beat him as he won’t be able to weight bully them.

 

Beterbiev has been knocked down twice and went life and death with Yarde where he was rocked multiple times. Benavidez on the other hand has smashed all his opponents. Its not crazy its just being more educated in boxing than someone like you.

 

More educated, sure.

Benavidez didn't even knock down Plant, much less smashed him. He fell on his ass against Gavril.

You know who did smash all his opponents ? Beterbiev.
