Big question is will it be called: BATTLE OF THE SHOTTEST Will wilder throw punches? Can Zhang throw more than a couple in sequence. Stay tuned.
Christ with the timings between fights in Saudi at the moment. They will both need to be covered up with their favourite blanket for the evening nap until someone comes up get them up lol.
Joyce will run him over again mate whilst he knackers himself out teeing off on him whilst being worn down with thudding punches. Bad style for Parker especially if he keeps going to the ropes. Just like zhang has Joyce's number cus he can't see the left hand coming.
Lol, this might break the record for least number of punches thrown in a heavyweight fight. Wilder unless he's in against a very over matched opponents tends to be tentative and not throw much, we saw that vs Ortiz, Fury and Parker. Zhang is a natural counter puncher and needs his opponent to lead for him to let his hands go. He had that vs Hrgovic, so let his hands go, but Parker was more tactical and Zhang's work rate fell off because of it. We might have a stale mate for a number of early rounds as neither really wants to press and lead, but at some point one of them will decide to unload and I suspect whoever has the courage to try and take control of the fight will stand victorious.
Zhang is the Heavyweight Zab Judah. The first 4 rounds will be fun. Rooting for Wilder, because if he wins then we will finally get Wilder vs Joshua.
Zhang dispatches him without much problem. I don't think Wilder has much of a puncher's chance too. For a big lumbering HW Zhang's defense is pretty good. With his foot placement, he knows exactly where the end of his opponent's punch range is and his guard is pretty tight.
How about: "Heavy Hitting Hypejobs?" They're both way overrated for what they've actually done... They're both old, and realistically too old to build solid, deep resumes now. Could be an interesting fight - Wilder's been thoroughly outmatched by the two legit contenders he's fought, and although Zhang is under proven, gasses early and is slow, he possesses power that Wilder's questionable chin wouldn't be able to handle... Will Wilder fight scared? Does he have have the discipline to tire out Zhang enough to risk a telegraphed bomb? Will Zhang's slowness leave him vulnerable? Will his awful gas tank expose him to a late windmill barrage? Will his chin cope? It's really interesting precisely because both have been hyped so hard and shown signs that they really might be better than their very limited achievements show... It's very difficult to place exactly how good either of them is, or ever was - if anything, that adds to the interest of the fight
Wilder and Zhang have already both mentally retired, but I hope more than anything that i'm completely wrong and it's all fireworks.
Any version of Zhang destroys the Wilder from the Parker loss. Wilder didn't mentally turn up in that fight. The lights were on, but he wasn't home. Wilders done. He's just topping up pocket money while he can.
Wilder won't win any more meaningful fights. His heart isn't into it and he's scared to get hit now. He isn't skilled enough to fight that way.
