Duran in his first fight against Leonard. It looked completely one sided for a while before Leonard came back in the middle rounds. Hearns may have been winning rounds but nobody else made a prime Leonard look that vulnerable.

Fernando Vargas beating Ike Quartey decisively and with no controversy. It was his greatest performance.

Alexis Arguello has a lot of great performances but I think my favorite from him is against Royal Kobayashi.

Armando Muniz was, hands down, my all-time favorite. He had a good few brilliant performances such as against Clyde Gray, Ernie Lopez, Hedgemon Lewis and the first fight with Jose Napoles. However, I would say my most satisfying performance - as a fan - would be his bout with Billy Lloyd. Muniz was getting a rep as a hot and cold fighter and he needed some redemption. In comes Billy Lloyd who had recent back-to-back KO wins over Zovek Barajas, who had recently beaten Muniz on a close decision. No one was giving Muniz a chance but he came out for that first round looking for blood and it didn't take long. Lloyd found himself in a corner - bad place for an opponent of Muniz - and Armando proceeded to rip into him, beating him to the canvas in the corner where he was down and done. World Boxing ran a 3 photo sequence of Lloyd slowly going down in the corner. As a fan, that was sublime.

I have to say Joe Frazier in the FOTC---it's really the most incredible display of sheer will to win at any cost I've ever seen!!

James Toney against Vassiliy Jirov. Toney hadn't been setting the world on fire since moving to cruiser and it was thought his best days were behind him at 168 (well they probably were...) but Toney silenced all doubters in a performance for the ages. Then followed it up stopping Holyfield. Loved watching Toney fight in the pocket and make opponents miss him while his arms were down.

Of the full film available, Eder Jofre was masterful against Jose Medel in the first fight and the Caraballo fight though the film is poor quality on the latter.

Tito Trinidad’s best has to be the Joppy fight or perhaps the Vargas fight as an overall performance.

Juan Manuel Marquez, I’d say either the Medina fight or the third Pacquaio fight.

This is one of my favourites too - brutal revenge.
Also Roy Jones v Griffin 2, as I love a good rematch. Also really like Jones v Hill ... Both of these are pure Roy, back when he was still Roy.

My favorite fighter can change like the weather, but among them I’ll cite:

Larry Holmes digging deep to take out Mike Weaver.

Sandy Saddler absolutely destroying Willie Pep in four rounds in their first fight.

Roberto Duran’s win over Iran Barkley.
