    Doors at Wayne State Fieldhouse in Detroit open up at 6pm, first bell at 7pm EST. DAZN coverage from 8pm EST.

    And yes, before anybody jumps down my throat regarding titular priority: the battle of light heavyweight southpaws does get top of the marquee billing for some reason.

    That leaves IMO the biggest name (yes, subjectively - but, inarguably and empirically the highest-ranked by world sanctioning bodies) on the card - Vlad Shishkin - relegated to a co-main event slot. Hey, at least he's superordinate to Shohjahon Abdusamiyevich "Descendant of Tamerlane" Ergashev in the Uzbek's rebound from losing to Subriel Ahmed Matías... :sisi1

    YES!! Pasted it as plain text, removing all the formatting and leaving it as just the "at" symbol and names. Finally figured out what works! I've got a .txt file that I'm just going to copy and paste from, from now on. Not sure why doing it with the bbcode got corrupted like that in first place, but oh well!

    I've never heard of either guy in the main event. Rankin, at least I'm familiar with some of his opponents - basically all eight that beat him and that's about it. :sisi1

    The obvious A-side, the undefeated Carrillo, is unranked by any of the four major world sanctioning orgs.

    Shishkin meanwhile is ranked #2 by the IBF, #10 by the WBO and #11 by the WBC. Now granted Mike Guy is a prohibitive underdog in their match - but so is Rankin in the match that's been given top honors.

    I'd say even Ergashev (ranked #14 by the IBF at 140lbs, and that's it) deserves higher billing.
