Kabayel-Sanchez and Opetaia-Briedis on Usyk-Fury undercard

Ortiz was a good counter puncher with hand speed and decent footwork. Age and inactivity just caught up with him.

And Ortiz was "overhyped" because he destroyed some well known names in 2015 and 2016. He looked spectacular during that time.

 

Ortiz only notable win is against an average Bryant Jennings, that says it all about his career. Lost twice to a very limited and poor boxer in Wilder. Grot dropped twice by Charles Martin.

Ortiz has slow and poor footwork in comparison to Sanchez.

 

Ortiz was getting older. He lost his legs.

 

Sure, he lost to Wilder...in his late 30s. And he was 42 when he fought Martin.
Let´s see how well Sanchez does when he is 40.

And you are real happy to tear down Ortiz´s resume, but wtf has Sanchez done?
Like I said, Ortiz had a good little run. No one is claiming he is some HOF or a great of his era. He just had a short run, that´s all. He arrived to the scene too late. FFS, he was already 36 when he beat Jennings.

 

Kayabel gave a great performance to watch last time but Sanchez aint a good dance partner. Could be a downer

Opetaia stops Briedis this time around, hate to say it. Hope Kabayel pulls off a win here because Sanchez is awful to watch. As for Kovalev, I think he’s getting knocked out as well, the man is likely shot by now.

Good fight between two mid level contenders looking to make that step up. We need to see more fights like this rather than guys padding their records until they get a big fight.

Kabayel with his wins over Chisora and Makhmudov is the more proven in my opinion, so I have him as the favourite. Sanchez has the hand speed but Kabayel has the foot speed, should be an interesting style match up.

 

I agree, if not destroy it'll be a wide points decision. Sanchez is on a different level to these other contenders outside of the top 5.
