    And he gained confidence and self belief after the cut after suffering a huge knockdown. He was much better and that wasn't just the cut.

    The doctor was called. Once the 3rd started the ref stopped the action and the cut was checked. Remember, the cut happened at the end of 2. The cut was checked several times throughout. Also the ref asked almost ever round how Tim was doing.
