Very unlucky for Tszyu. While I do think he lost tonight he was very poorly advised taking this fight on such short notice and the cut didn't help.

 

That’s boxing for you, no one could have anticipated that cut happening and it definitely changed the vibe and tempo of the fight which seemed to be going in Tim’s favour.

Fundora fought a smart fight and used his height to his advantage and remained composed. Tim didn’t follow up on Fundora when he had him rocked which surprised me.

Bravo to both fighters. Cracking fight.

Fundora was given a title shot on 12 days notice. He better not hustle the Champ in this circumstance. Give him a rematch.

 

Fundora was a replacement he wasn’t exactly given a title shot he was just ready to go and ranked highly enough and accepted the challenge

 

They should rematch that was an unfortunate cut that looked to tiim head butting the elbow, clear accident.

Fundora looked to have a broken nose and was able to take advantage of what was given to him so I have to give him some credit I gave tim 3 rounds the entire fight.

I thought this was a bad idea of a fight all along and after 2 I felt I was wrong. But, I said right away this is much harder than thurman. the judges were always going to favour time, one gave him 5 and one gave him 8. come on now.

I will say best case is tim won 4 rounds.

 

I agree, I think Tszyu would have stopped him if not cut but I don't think Tim is as good as Matias or Lopez. Haney would also probably outpoint him.
