I don't have any thoughts on this at all really as I have no interest in this fight. I didn't watch any of these cross over fights like Mayweather/McGregor, Tyson/RJJ, any Logan or Jake Paul fights they simply have no value to me other than it being a money making venture to fleece fans. I'm into boxing as a sport, I'm not big into the celebrity side of boxing, even less so when you have celebrities playing at being boxers. I get why people are into it, many people find that celebrity side of boxing interesting, want to know about their favourite fighters lives, but for me anything outside of the ring doesn't interest me at all and I don't see these fights as actual boxing it's about their celebrity. These fights mean nothing to the actual sport itself it's not like Tyson or Paul will fight for a title even an area one, one's too old the other too crap if were honest.
So it's an agreed given, then, that the result is, and was always going to be a Jake Paul win. At any stage of Tysons career. The only thing I see Paul possibly losing, is an ear or two.
That’s pretty much it Arch. Spot on about the ear(s) also. They say the last thing a fighter loses is his bite, so Jake should still be duly weary of the 58 yo version of Mike.
Maybe Paul can lessen that bite risk and leave it another 20 years, and Mike may then, be on a set of old school removable dentures. If Tyson then does spit out his gum shield and goes for Paul, the worse thing that could happen is Paul gets a love bite. Or if it happens to be a low blow 'suck', it's gums upon his plums... Funny how these threads can just spiral out of control and off topic and into the comedic stratosphere. Only takes a couple or three 'erberts..
Absolutely right, squire. Jake isn't remotely close to his prime yet and 58 will be the new 28 by the time he reaches that age Yes, Jake is so good that even the dead version of him will be the then current P4P king Like I've been saying for a long time, Jake is built different and he hasn't only changed the game he's completely revolutionised it. Keep your eyes peeled over the next 5-15 years because there are going be a lot of Jake clones coming up through the ranks and the savage punching slick Jake style will be the dominant style for a very long time to come
Yes it is and no they aren't. Hence why I'm so committed to spreading the Gospel of Jake so to speak every chance I get. I have a very keen eye for talent and I've been banging the Jake drum and prophesying The Jakeover for a long time and it's all coming to pass That's a dream match up right there. Jake is the modern day Clint so fingers crossed we get to see Jake vs Clint after Jake exposes Mike and knocks his ass out in HL reel fashion
Absolutely spot on and fully agreed with 110%, squire. Regarding the unavoidable and inevitable future Paul clones. Which will improve 61.8% with each new generation, I will add. I'm just so happy & glad, and feel privileged to be witnessing & living at a time of its ( to be) historical birth. I'll be able to tell my future great grandchildren all about the exciting halcyon days of the game changing, MK1 Jake Paul....the birth of a legend. Exciting times for sure, squire.
Yes that's the most exciting aspect about this - people are going to be questioning whether the generation of Jake clones might have been genetically engineered because they're going to be a new super breed of fighters Yes me too, squire. This is the time to be alive for boxing fans and thankfully by the grace of Jake we're alive to witness it
Tyson looks great in the gym hitting a heavy bag for the cameras but his punch resistance was totally shot more than 20 years ago at the end of his pro career. It ain’t coming back ever especially with all the **** that Tyson been smokin since then. I would be more confident of 75 year old foreman’s chances than Tyson’s
