He will face Cassius Chaney in Florida on the undercard of Adrien Broner vs Blair Cobbs

Pathetic matchmaking, Bakole needs to fight guys who aren't washed up has beens or never will bes. Tis a shame too as there is undoubted potential there. He's got the heaviest arm punches I've seen on a heavyweight, terrible leverage but great thump behind em.

Think you're both being very harsh on Bakole here. Do you know what other opportunities were available to him? I think he falls squarely into the 'who needs him' category of being dangerous without having a large following or wealthy promoter getting him his chance. So the only way to land a big fight is to go down the eliminator route, which is what he's doing.

If you know of a big fight he's swerved then by all means say so. Seems unfair to bag on him though when as far as I can tell he's been trying to get the big fights?

A good fight, but not to be an eliminator, Bakole will win, but this fight should only serve to prepare him for something bigger...

He's 33 years old and has yet to fight a top contender. What a waste.

Chaney beat Sugar Trevor Bryan in his last fight so clearly is mega talented.

Bear Bakole can't force these chickens to come out of the coop. They don't want none of that Bakole smoke and to be honest I don't blame them either.

    Kinda is.
AJ was trying to make a comeback. Bakole did his comeback and rebuilding years ago, he capped it off with a sweet upset over Yoka. This was his moment and he announced himself to the world. And now 2 years later he is fighting Chaney? While rest of the division is on a roll.

This is pretty bad. At least it´s something and an eliminator, so it´s better than staying inactive.
