Did the cut really win the fight? I didn't like what i saw from timmy in the mid to late rounds. He stopped parrying the jab and didn't go to the body at all. Fundora is a dangerous man.

He was getting his ass beaten before the cut, including having his nose broken and being rocked. After the cut he made it competitive. I don't think it's rocket science.

I was listening to Paulie Malanaggi go on and on about Tszyu saving the card by fighting Fundora but gave no credit to Fundora.
Sure Tszyu did his part but to give no credit to Fundora for stepping up with short notice is b.s.

Imo Fundora saved the card and put on one hell of a show.

There were still 10 more rounds to go. Winning the 1st 2 means nothing

I would estimate that Tszyu, given his size, weight, sex, probably has about 10, give or take a mouthful or two, pints of blood in his body. That cut was bleeding profusely for 10 rounds and he was losing about half a pint of blood each round

So if my math is correct

    10 x 0.5 pints of blood = 5 pints of blood

So he lost 50% of all the blood in his body and my half a pint of blood per round estimate was a conservative one. It's was probably more like 7 pints in total so he lost 70% of all the blood in his body a losing like 4-5 pints is life threatening. Then you factor in he was fighting blind or partially blind throughout those 10 rounds.

I like Fundora. He's a very nice guy and he deserves credit too but Tszyu was blind and technically he shouldn't have been alive come the championship rounds so I'm giving him 90% of the credit

He's ranked the best LMW in the world.

I think he's getting the credit.

If I was to jab Stevie Wonders face off over 12 rounds (and hand it to Ed Gein, timeline exempted) would I get any credit? I think not! Apart from Ed.

    Cuts happen man.

It wasn't bad enough for the ref to halt the fight, Fundora deserves all the credit and accolades he's currently receiving.

That's what Ed said to most of his victims.

Fundora seized the opportunity but the only ones really saying he did great are the ones who want to discredit Tszyu and his Herculean like effort to continue fighting with such a brutal cut. Can't fault Fundora though but he was on his way to getting stopped before Tszyu got cut IMO

Why would anyone want to discredit Zoo?

He's not that well known a fighter despite fighting a high level of opposition so far.

Are you a doctor? If so, tell me where you work so I can sue the hospital for malpractice.

Yes, losing 5 pints of blood is life threatening... which is exactly why we know he did not lose five pints of blood while competing in a world championship boxing match and getting punched in the face a couple hundred times.

    LMAO

Cut did impact the fight but that is boxing. This isn't the first nor will it be the last incidental cut. Fundora gets credit. Why wouldn't he?

Just saw highlights not the full fight but I give Fundora his props. He was certainly an underdog and took some solid punches and won a gritty fight.
