In the "Day of reckoning final predictions" thread I picked Parker to beat Wilder by UD or possibly a late stoppage just because I've never been on board the Wilder is the most monstrous puncher ever train and Parker is clearly a more skilled boxer. I also picked Parker to beat Zhang on these pages aswell as I wasnt on board that train either, Zhang lost a close decision to as yet unproven Hrgovc and people were talking like he's the 2nd coming then he beat go slow Joe a couple of times... Would I choose Parker over AJ though? No I think AJ would beat him in a clear decision again as I don't see how he does anything better than AJ.
Your criticism towards Parker's recent opponents don't stack up when they were both top 5 at the time Parker beat them, and the fact AJs best victory is against Wlad in his last fight at 41. Claiming AJ "would" beat other opponents holds no relevance because he's actively avoiding them to fight people like Wallin and Ngannou instead. Who else does Parker have to beat to get a rematch here? It's the only real fight that makes sense given their respective rankings with #1 and #2 fighting for undisputed.
Joyce will always be questionable due to styles, but Parker easily beats the other two today. Whyte is absolutely shot to bits, and Dubios would get out worked without too much trouble.
Forgetting that AJ got smashed around by Ruiz? Zhang would likely flatline AJ, and Parker took Zhang's power quite well considering what happened to Joyce.
Wilder and Zhang punch harder than both, and have attributes they don't (Wilder has speed, Zhang a skilled southpaw). So I doubt it.
Mate Wilder has better punch resistance than AJ Fury had to batter him senseless to stop him Re watch AJ v Ruiz And the other fights he was stunned big time
Joyce already knocked him out and Dubois and Whyte who has also beaten him can both punch. Wilder was off and did not connect. We saw how he went down when Zhang hit. If these guys hurt him they will finish him.
Wilder got stopped twice by feather fisted fury. The same guy who couldn’t put a dent in the walking punchbag 0-0 novice Francis Ngannou or Otto “No Mas” Wallin
I already acknowledged Joyce is a bad match up. Whyte couldn't knock Parker out even with a headbutt and landing his signature hook clean the first time around. Dubios isn't really proven enough and would be an easy match up for Parker.
