There's no way he lost that much blood, not a chance. Possibly 1.5 to 2 which will have had a massive effect but not 5.
He's not, the "Timaniacs" are downplaying the win as much as they possibly can. Fundora fought just as damaged as Tim. Honestly I'm even shocked because I went into the fight saying Tim would have some trouble but would be able to get rid of him. Yeah the blood damaged him a bit, but the broken nose and mouth blood damaged Fundora just as much, and yet that was the most disciplined I've ever seen Fundora. It's actually the first time I saw a gameplan from him in all the fights I saw. He jabbed Tim's head off and won 10 rounds in a row IMO. So yeah, Fundora is definitely not getting enough credit from a certain segment.
Definitely, some people went in with the preconceived notion that Tim would walk through him, and after that didn't happen people are distorting the outcome of the fight around that notion. Tszyu was dominant in the first two rounds, however I don't think that you can assume if the cut hadn't happened the rest of the fight would be a continuation of the first two rounds. Fundora was absorbing the punches well (some people claimed he wouldn't be able to), and once he loosened up and started to establish his range I think Tszyu would always find it difficult to get in mid-range and work him over. I'm not trying to have a slight at Tszyu, who is a world level operator and has every chance in the rematch, I just think Fundora deserves more credit from some corners.
Exactly! You know how many fighters win the first two rounds and lose fights? It happens all the time.
Alot of that blood that was painting the ring red was from Fundora also not just Tszyu. I have read several articles including several opinions of doctors and no where did I read there was internal bleeding. Tszyu's blood was flowing out of his body which makes it external bleeding. And last, The idea birds live in a nest is a myth. Nest are for eggs to hatch and grow in. The only time birds are even in the nest is when they are incubating eggs or keeping them warm. I think what your referring to is called a roosting site not a nest.
There was massive internal bleeding How much blood do you think Fundora has in his body exactly he's practically a skeleton? No it's not. Birds live in nests when they incubating eggs and that's what I was alluding to. Do wolves live in bird nests? Camels? Seals? Orangutans? Thank you
Massive internal bleeding from what part of the body? The cut on the head was external so I'm not sure what your talking about. Can you provide the article and doctor who has said this? Fundora probably has around 12 pints of blood based off the ratio of weight to blood for some one weighs 154lbs. Btw Orangutans build nest in trees also, seals build nest in the sand and Camels actually help birds build their nest in the trees.
