Definitely rooting for Culcay. If anyone deserves to be a world champion, it´s him.

I've never seen Murtazaliev fight before; is he any good? Regardless I will be rooting for Culcay, he is an underrated fighter and would be a deserving champion.

AGON Sports bid >600k to stage this fight in Germany. However, the media coverage here is low and it will only be shown by a local broadcaster on TV (might be on YouTube as well). That's a bit sad actually.
Anyway, Culcay is a great talent and despite his age, the odds on him winning via decision are definitely tempting. With his boxing skills, he will for sure be able to keep the rounds close and granted he will not get stopped late, he might snatch a decision here. Especially considering the venue and that the Russian guy might carry some ring rust.

I bet 5 bucks on Murtazaliev to curse him.
Also, good to read that Culcay is getting at least 1 more payday. Most 38 year olds in boxing don´t make 6 figures from a fight. I am really glad he is getting this opportunity.

Yep, he comes across as a decent guy and actually had a bit bad luck in the past. General concensus is his career did not pick up enough pace in relation to what he brings or at least brought to the table... Easy to root for.

    Round 1: 10-9 Murtazaliev

10-9 Murtazaliev; Murtazaliev should have scored a knockdown there but the ref ruled that Culcay slipped. Culcay didn’t seem too hurt.

    Round 1: 10-9 Murtazaliev
    Round 2: 10-9 Murtazaliev

20-18 Murtazaliev; Culcay started finding courage in the last 30 seconds of this round but not enough to win the round. He needs to be the one punching first.

    Round 1: 10-9 Murtazaliev
    Round 2: 10-9 Murtazaliev
    Round 3: 10-9 Murtazaliev

30-27 Murtazaliev; close round. Culcay landed more here but Murtazaliev still with the more consistent work for me.

    Round 1: 10-9 Murtazaliev
    Round 2: 10-9 Murtazaliev
    Round 3: 10-9 Murtazaliev
    Round 4: 10-9 Murtazaliev

40-36 Murtazaliev; Culcay landed SOME good shots but he’s fighting the wrong fight here. He needs to come in-and-out. He’s getting hit way too much. Murtazaliev is consistent with his work but he’s starting to get hit more.

I agree with this, and your card, but Murt looks a little tired to me - and Culcay been cornering him this round.

    Round 1: 10-9 Murtazaliev
    Round 2: 10-9 Murtazaliev
    Round 3: 10-9 Murtazaliev
    Round 4: 10-9 Murtazaliev
    Round 5: 10-9 Culcay

49-46 Murtazaliev; real close round. Murtazaliev almost stole this round but I’ll give it to Culcay for some big shots.
