i think he will shock everyone again by dismantling a Usyk. This is coming from someone who wants Usyk to win but Fury always turns up when the odds are against him. That's why I've always been reluctant to say he's past it because I think a lot of people will be sucking up to him again after this fight.

To be honest I wouldn’t be surprised. I also wouldn’t be surprised if he got beat to ****.

Too late. He'll never be in that kind of shape again.

Look for Usyk to throw a thousand punches like he did against Gassiev, and target the eye.

I read the thread title too quickly.

I thought it said “I think Fury is turning up.” Full stop.

I thought, ah, that’s nice. Optimism is a good thing.

For sure he afraid of Usyk. That's why he build great shape and probably dont fight in first date. He for sure want be as quick as possibile.
    But.
Usyk is not Wilder. Usyk dont have much problem in past and I dont remeber him being even close to lose before last bell.
He took shoots from Joshua, Dubois, Gassiev- they all punch harder than Fury.

As someone who want Usyk win Im little worry because lighter Tyson can be quick. This + his size can be problem if Tyson will work hard with jab and footwork

But Hey. Usyk is genius. He can find answer for all. If he cant- respect for Tyson and he will deserve to be best Hw of this era. But we will see

So many people said that Usyk will beat Fury with ease, that I might even bet on Fury to stop Usyk with one of this dirty tactics.

Usyks luck has to end at some point. Maybe even getting old overnight.

Both fighters are clearly not the fighters they once were and we all know time waits for nobody,I would not be surprised if both of them retired after the Undisputed fight/fights .

I've kind of gone the opposite way, the closer we get to the fight. I agree that Fury will arrive in good shape - or at least the best shape he is capable of being in at this stage of his career. But I genuinely, genuinely think Usyk is gonna dismantle him.

Only if Fury can't establish his range advantage due to his dodgy joints and having to abandon his jab which is highly likely. Then it's down to Fury to adjust after losing early boxing rounds and put pressure on Usyk like no man has before. Put it simply the guys who pressured Usyk and had success would all get battered and KO'd quickly by Fury so if you stick that mammoth into a fight with Usyk pressuring how can he deal with it ? Ring circle and high guard? No chance.

Fury is going to find his long range ability is not quite good enough to win early boxing rounds, will adjust make it a dog fight where Usyk cannot cope. The body shots won't fold Usyk but they will take more than enough wind out of his sails to put him off his gameplay and into preservation mode.

Both will draw the best and worst out of each other but what will shine is their heart and determination to win. Fury finds any kind of form he's tearing Usyk apart but I don't see it.

How were the odds against him in Wilder 2? Fury won the first fight after depression and obesity
A draw was pure robbery in the first fight.

If Fury comes in light (and it looks like that will be the case), then presumably it will negatively affect his punch resistance. A light, weakened Fury, marauding forward onto counter after counter from Usyk, is a recipe for disaster if you're a Fury fan. I presume Fury will try and utilise his size and keep the fight at range, clinching when Usyk gets midrange.

Yet Wilder who is a far bigger puncher than Usyk could not keep Fury down in the first fight even after Fury had dropped multiple stones in weight and was nowhere near fully fit. This Undisputed fight is going to be a chess match and tbh I will be surprised if there is a stoppage of either fighter .

I heard that Tommy Fury nicked some crisps off his plate at the last family meet up. That sort of thing has to wreck havoc with a man's psyche, innit?
