I think Fury is turning up like he did in Wilder 2.

I'm going to have to favor the boxer usyk knowing all the variables, Fury isn't what he once was, and even then it's about 50/50. Fury isn't that good on the front foot watching the Wallin and Wilder fights. But if Fury does win the forum goes into a meltdown

However, I don't think it'll be straightforward. My intuition says Fury wins a controversial decision. Yeah thats definitely what happens, they want Fury vs Aj. Eddie talking to the Saudis about it like it's a done deal arouses suspicion as much as I don't want it to be true

Less than he would have if he had faced the likes of Washington and Szpillka every 6 months.

I doubt Martin could beat either of them tbh.

For all he puts into his physical and mental preparations and his displays of as and when required moxie, the net outcomes for Usyk might ultimately reflect relative supreme control and clear margins for victory.

But, at HW, has it ever been legitimately and literally that easy? No, I don’t think so.

I don’t think Olek himself can afford too much degradation in his game. Usyk works extremely hard for his outcomes and has worn some punishment along the way.

Based on their last fights. I think Olek is that much better off than Fury - whose own deteriorations and limited game (at any rate), might’ve been over explained by a lack of preparedness vs Ngannou.

I think Olek will have to (and can and will) put it all out against Fury - tapping his durability and courage at certain points - but still proving he has more than enough left in those regards to get the job done. By definition, extraordinary fighters can and will do extraordinary things to earn their keep and status.

Tyson, at least per image, is the HW summit for Usyk - a summit Olek has always been working toward since stepping into the HW realm.

He already beat an overall better fighter in AJ, imo.

But somehow, the bombastic and inactive Fury is still the marquee scalp and Fury will likely not fight anywhere near as cleanly and openly as AJ did - credit to AJ.

I don’t know why people give Fury credit for his non pure boxing means - leaning, holding, mauling, etc.

Even if those means turn the trick and secure victory - so what? - it isn’t boxing and the naturally much larger man will obviously hold advantage when allowed to practice such tactics without due governance.

So desperate Fury was, when the going got really tough he even gave the debutant Ngannou a few blatant elbows - how **** weak is that? Suffice to say, his elbow joints seemed fine.

That Fury copped an elbow himself in training for Usyk was more than ironic - and the sparring partner who did it, wasn’t a big fella at all relative to the Big Dosser and he got to Fury when it was Fury himself practising not so legal tactics - a forewarning for Usyk to look out for and combat same.

So, there’s no reason for Usyk to somehow expect Fury to take the high road and fight clean if Tyson finds himself in a similarly desperate position when they fight.

If the ref is too lenient BUT at least even handed, Olek should foul right back in equal proportion to keep Fury honest. He has to be ready for same.

I laughed when Fury tried on the head to head BS at the presser.

The so called midget MW beat him cold at his own game, so much so, it was Fury who immediately resorted to using his hands to push Olek away - not Olek though, he played by the “rules” and used his head only, from go to whoa.

If by chance Usyk puts Fury down at any point, IF Fury gets another 23 secs before the fight is waved back…well, that would be outrageous. I think I could survive any KDs if given until the next day to haul myself up and recover…

Unless he’s a never say die tragic…and he does appear to have his screwed on better than most, , it wouldn’t be illogical for Uysk to retire if he beats Fury. A perfect ending to a fine career with some nice money in his kick.

Usyk KOes Fury on May 18th if Fury doesn't withdraw again.

But I don't think this fight will happen on May 18th. Fury will invent another injury.

I think Fury will fight AJ in September instead, so that Usyk ages further and loses his style.

This will be the best Tyson we have seen in a long time. He will destroy Usyk and make it look easy, mark my words.

Just remember Tyson before the Wlad fight. How he came into the ring, how he was still throwing punches while the national anthems. Wlad was already beaten at this point, he looked demoralized. And then he was schooled for 12 rounds.

Too big, too strong, too slick, too gypsy. And I like Usyk as a true sportsman. He is right now one of the best ambassadors of the sport itself. But he has now chance if Tyson shows up like against Wlad or Wilder 2 and I am sure he will this time show up like that because that fight is personal for him. Also because of his last poor performance.

People like to talk about history as if it is facts Deontay is not Usyk and vice versa.

What's your point Tyson been dropped 7 times and gets hit way more yet praised like a God just because of his size and having solid fundamentals but with a weak resume.

Looks like you forgot or are unaware that Martin knocked Gerald Washington senseless in their match.

I never praise fury like a God
I think he's top dog imo in a terrible era

Some posters have been on record comparing usyk to the likes of Ray Robinson, Ali and Harry Greb? Lol

His resume isn't that hot either, a load of bums, bar 3 or 4 guys at best

Maybe! That’s fine! And Usyk will show up even sharper than he was against Joshua in fight 1. This is the biggest moment of Usyk’s career.

That’s doubtful. 3 years is a long time when you’re in your late 30s. I thought he looked noticeably slower against DD
