Thats true. A very good example was when usyk ducked wilder and fought dubois for title defence

-all negotation power was on team usyk to choose between dubois or wilder
-everybody wanted a wilder fight
- the big money for usyk was in facing wilder and not dubois
-the reward for usyk was in facing wilder and not dubois
- wba cleared the path calling wilder next mandatory so no risk for usyk to be stripped

Usyk ducked and fought dubois even when the purse and the reward was very low for him .

 

The worse duck would have to be Bowe throwing the belt in the trash to avoid Lewis
