It's billed as a snap press conference to try and stir up some interest with a lot of people saying he might retire or pull out. But if he was to pull out (and there's still time yet) he will take the cowards way out and leave all the talking and excuses to Frank whilst he goes into hiding
First 2 minutes - 2 shout-outs to Saudi and His Excellency and a wee mention for Ramadan. Standard stuff at a British presser.

In between times - Fury giving a history less on cruiserweights that didn't step up against the super heavies. No mention of Holyfield's career or Usyk beating AJ twice over the distance. Notes that John is in his camp this time, the cut was God's will, nothing particularly worth hearing. Frank interjects that lack of activity in the last few years will help Fury with the back-to-back camps. Don't we usually hear that inactivity is a terrible thing in boxing?

No. The whole thing was odd, it was basically a Queensberry / Goldstar presser to let Fury mouth off for a while. Completely pointless.
The way they all grovel around 'His Excellency'', in reality a Playboy Prince who lucked into being born into the familial dictatorship of a barbaric wasteland that happens to be above an ocean of oil, is easily the most cringeworthy thing I've seen in 30 years following boxing. The presser today where Warren and Fury became nodding dogs as he talked gibberish through a mobile phone held up to a microphone was like a scene Ricky Gervais would write.
Given Goldstar's close involvement in all the shows, you have to wonder what leverage the Saudis might have on them. Usyk's camp and even Matchroom aren't grovelling as much as the Warrens and Furys. I see Froch called out some of the Saudi BS in his own YouTube channel - the events having no atmosphere, nobody wanting to say things like that out loud, etc - at least someone's honest!
