Is it just me, or is Wahid's resume aging quite well?

We are, you're saying he has decent wins. I'm saying he has decent wins.

You're saying he has no elite wins. I'm saying he has no elite wins.

You're saying he ducked the biggest names. I'm saying he ducked the biggest names.

We're the same, me and you, the same.

One thing I'd additionally note on this is there could be a semantic difference in interpretation of the statement "XYZ's resume is aging well"

    1. The resume has shown progression and increase in challenges over time as the fighter moves from novice to prospect to contender and possibly elite level
    2. The resume starts to look better 'in hindsight' as some matchups that did not seem good at the time look better due to what the 'soft touch' then goes on to achieve

Looking back at OP post in more detail, I can see now that the intent on the thread was really option 2, whereas I was more coming at in from option 1.

Tank's resume has not really got much better over time in terms of 'stepping up' but there is a good argument that Cruz and Garcia and some other wins could look a lot better by the end of the year - especially if Garcia was to somehow chin Haney (as much as i'd love to see it I think that's highly unlikely)

Still, Cruz arguably beat Tank which still leaves an asterisk on that - deserves a rematch which I doubt happens!

Highlight reels knockouts of Loma and Shakur coming and after Frank Martin loses to Wahid Tank he to will later win a belt.

    I don’t think it’s bad generally speaking

however, for the accolades he gets and how he’s perceived in the sport it’s bad

Like I've been saying, Haney and his resume have been hugely overrated, while Tank is a little underrated.

Compare how easily Tank handled Ryan, vs Haney getting knocked down 5 times (3 times officially). What do people think would happen when Tank lands on Haney's glass chin if they fought?

These guys just aren't on Tank's level.

Mmmmmmm I think Andy Cruz, Keyshawn Davis, and Abdullah Mason would be interesting matchups at 135 to 140

Now the Ryan ko actually looks a decent result as well.

I think a moderator here deleted one of my threads last year because I said Tank v. Garcia was a superfight.
