Is this an actual real fight that will show up on the fighters’ records or just an exhibition? I’ve been a little out of the loop on boxing the past several months.
This fight was put together for situations like this. It shows that Mike Tyson is still relevant the moment he mentions getting in the ring even if it's for a glorified sparring match vs a guy who claims to be a boxer, but doesn't actually fight other boxers. You'll get the die hard boxing fans weighing in. You'll get the new blood Man Fans weighing in. And then you'll have those who know nothing about the sport, but know and/or love Tyson/Paul as icons who will support it. At the end of the day......$$$$$$$$$$$$ A lot of people who claim they won't support it, will in fact show up to watch, which is support. Because regardless of how much they claim not to care, they don't want to be in the dark with the discussions about the fight on these boards, even if their only input is about how much they "don't like" the event.
I genuinely don't understand the appeal of these exhibition fights. Why would I watch a sporting contest with no winner?
Obviously you will. Your eyes, your beautiful eyes will watch. Then what? Say your eyes didn’t watch when they clearly did. You’re everything boxing and you never miss a beat, just admit it.
Why would I? I didn't watch Tyson v Jones neither. I like watching competitive boxing. I prefer watching UFC tbh.
So what your saying is your eyes won’t meet a screen? A boxing screen? A screen where this fight takes place? A year from now, 5 years from now, you’ll have an opinion. You’ll post it. It’s all factored in kid.
I will be 650 miles from home, visiting family when Tyson "vs." Paul happens. My brother is buying this and wants to watch it with me, sooo I will be watching it.
I'm sure you will. Doesn't really interest me. I didn't watch the boxing card last night neither. Domestic rivalries or top level boxing is all I really watch.
