Im going to presume firstly that this post implies you’ve never been flippantly critical of a Boxer’s weaknesses. Ever. Can you say this is true with a straight face?

Secondly Klitschko put himself out there as a public figure. This kind of thing goes hand in hand with the adulation & pats on the back. You don’t get to be famous without copping some flak, & as flak goes, this is pretty harmless.

Third, please hold your concerns about how harsh I am until you see what I have to say about Wlad’s brother as a fighter. If you thought this was too much, you may want to avert your eyes when the subject of Vitali comes up.

& regarding the point of not knowing the years it takes to build a Boxing career, well, it takes years to know how to put a car together. Takes years to learn construction of a building. Would you refrain from criticising these people if the steering wheel fell off, or the third floor ceiling caved in?

Of all the fighters Wlad ever faced, Corrie was the best golfer.

So very true - One thing is brute power that doesn't connect another thing is a perfectly timed shot that connects.

Appreciate the honesty, rather than the choosing of a guy he beat over a guy who knocked him out.

He more than did well with what he had. He's a lock for the Top Ten Heavies in history. You can't control the game that long and be out of the discussion. Over the span of a decade at the top he barely lost a round.

I agree all I ever heard was how uncompetitive Wladimir Klitschko made everything.
That achievement might just need some aging for the masses to realise what they had. “Dr Steelhammer” was a great heavyweight champion
