Yea I wonder when Zhang lands in round 1 if Wilder doesn't get on his bike and shell up best he can. Even though he lost to Parker he dropped him hard twice and Wilder can't execute that game plan like Parker did.

    Yea I'm liking Zhang here.

Wilder is shot and always depended on his quickness more than Zhang did.

Not out of the question Wilder wins, but I think the torque in his lower body is gone and his power has diminished accordingly.

    Zhang KO 2

Interesting that Wilder has finally found his balls at the back end of his career and taking dangerous fights. Or was it more of a case that he always had them but Al Haymon kept him in the protection program?

Is he though? That same Parker dominated all but roughly 2 minutes of the Zhang fight.

I don’t know or care who wins this I just can’t wait to see wilder eat heavy jabs for at least a few rounds, I look forward to watching that head snap back.
I’m more shocked that match room signed Wilder, must be on a one flight deal, or fight by fight deal.
But does it mean that Wilder Joshua is getting closer, I still think that fight is one of the best fights to be made currently.
    It’s a pickem for me

How many bigger punchers than Wilder has Zhang fought?

Great fight. Picking Wilder inside 4 rounds. Zhang is too slow and his stance is vulnerable to the right hand.

    Submitted without further comment:

Biggest puncher Zhāng has faced is Joyce.

Bigger puncher Wilder has faced is Helenius or Ortiz.

This fight could be very boring if it somehow makes it to 10 rounds.

"But yeah if Wilder's power was ever truly legit at this level then he KO's Zhang."

This is a return to your "Wilder will decision Breazeale or stop him late" shtick.

Darnell Boone's power was legit at any level but he wasn't usually able to make it count or capitalise even after he did land big. Tyson's power had no real effect on McBride. Wilder is finished ("this is my last dance") so I heavily favour Zhang.

Come on. A 70 IQ athlete isn't running his career over the likes of Haymon and Finkel.

You'd have to be irrational to question Wilder's courage. Prior to the Parker fight he'd never shown any lack of desire in the ring. Quite the contrary.

Wilder's level of competition has been consistently good since 2018 but his handlers are now cashing him out.

I never questioned his courage inside the ring the guy has a heart the size of Phar Lap once the bell rings. Maybe saying found his balls was a bit too harsh in my original post.
