Wilder seems gun-shy, punchy and his chin is gone. Zhang shouldn't have a problem sending Wilder to Hades.

Wilder by KO. Parker can box. Zhang can't move anywhere near as well. I doubt he'll avoid the right from landing flush at least once. Zhang has no footwork at all.

But Zhang is dangerous, cause, let's face it, Wilder can't box and Zhang has decent skills, big power and nice handspeed. But it won't matter because he is stuck in cement and Wilder will land a monster right at least once.

Zhang stops Wilder, although both are already old, Zhang seems somehow fresher to me, probably because Wilder has many more fights behind him and has suffered more damage, Wilder will enter the fight too cautiously and Zhang will be the one who will press...

Wilder is finished and Zhang is grossly overrated.

Zhang by KO if Wilder stands in front of him. Wilder by KO if he can stay off-center and create some angles.

It's a crap fight given neither guy is relevant but potentially a good fight in that there may be some action. But it could also go the other way and be a snorefest with both guys being gun shy and staying out of range.

I'll tip Zhang but on gut feel only.

I think he just needs to do that now. Nobody wants to see him against low level competition anymore. Fighting top guys is the only way for him to make some money off of boxing.

This is a proper circus fight.
They can both KO the other, Zhang has more skill probably and is obviously smarter, Wilder has more speed.
I wouldn't want to bet on this one as Wilder might come out swinging after the Parker loss and anything can happen.
Hopefully Zhang destroys him. But it's also funny if Wilder KO's Zhang and AJ is still trying to justify ducking him.

If Wilder doesn't come in with a broken hand like he did against Parker I think he'll knock Zhang out.

I'm hoping Deontay Wilder's fight vs Parker was just a bad first fight back and we'll see old enranged beyonce back.

This. Parker gets no credit from me for beating seniors.

Zhang and Wilder both won medals in Beijing 2008 (Zhang SHW silver, Wilder HW bronze), so Wilder (the only fighter to win a medal on the U.S. team) would have been somewhat on Zhang's radar since then and even more so since Wilder won the WBC in 2015. Zhang has been based in America his entire pro career (debut in 2014) and his American trainer would have been following Wilder closely since he won the title, if not significantly before.

Wilder conversely wouldn't have been thinking about Zhang until he beat Joyce, if even then because I doubt Wilder's been thinking much about fighting since Fury 3. The same likely goes for Wilder's trainer, who was far more familiar with Parker (who Scott had sparred extensively several years prior) but still unable to get anything out of Wilder for that fight.

So the psychological and informational dynamic is that team Zhang are the hunters, team Wilder are the hunted.

One of best weapon vs southpaw is straight right hand- Wilder best weapon on historical level. Soo for sure Deontay got tools to win with Zhang.
Also Wilder got pretty good reach advantage + height advantage.
But most important is speed. Wilder was light in last fight and even if he lost he move quiet well.

Zhang got probably pretty similar punching power. He for sure got stronger chin than Deontay. He got 100% biggest punching power and hardest chin from all dudes whos Wilder fight in carrer. He also got very quick hands and good "eye" to counter.
But he is slow on feet, he dont use front hand well and he got some problems with stamina.

Soo we got 2 old massive punchers but one is bigger and and quicker. Second is stronger but slower and smaller.

For me its 65/35 fight for Wilder. He can show again his pony trick here. Off course because Wilder bad skills, all this fights and Zhang offensive atributes we must give Zhilei his chances here. He can counter Wilder and if he catch him good Wilder will go sleep.

All what Zhang need practice is avoid big right and counter Wilder when he miss it.
Wilder must just going back and find his space when Zhang will go forward and lost focus.

They should call this fight "Batlle of biggest punchers".

This is my argument for why Parker beat Wilder so easily and will likely never replicate that performance. Parker was helping Tyson train for Wilder for years.

I am picking Wilder because Zhang is slow and looks incapable of winning 10-9 rounds but I found this interesting.

Zhang will expose what a useless bum Wilder has always been. Then Fury's last claim at a decent resume will lay in tatters.

Wilder seems done, can’t see him winning this fight, but I hope for the best.
