Does anyone realistically believe RyGa has a chance to win?

They were 3-3 in the ameteurs so its not impossible. Ryan does seem like the type of fighter than never improves though.

I feel like Garcia will have a few big moments but lose. He will have gained as much strength with the move up from 135lbs as Haney has.

    I hope so

It's crazy how such a boring fighter like Haney seems to be a money guy now

It's boxing, a sport where a single punch can change everything, of course he has a chance. Im not paying any attention to all the antics, all it takes is a punch.

Pretty much. At this rate he’ll continue to be just a raw talent,

Linares himself said it was due to Haney being weights drained.

I would say yes. Haney is nothing special. I just worry that Garcia will go mental mid-fight. Not even close to being worth PPV $ to me.

He wouldn't but it's a reasonable assumption (I mean how many people called Haney a "weight bully") and pros do have better eyes for these things. I think Haney showed more power against Prograis which would add validity to Linares' suspicions.

    Sure he does.

Does anyone (besides his dad) think Devin Haney is anything special? The guy hasn't stopped anyone in five years. He's boring as all hell. These guys have fought a half-dozen times already in the amateurs. They both know each other. For all the prefight nonsense, this is liable to be just another tentative, posing, feinting, clinching, dull affair where both guys come out of it looking like they haven't even been in a fight.

There's nothing worse than a boring fight where the only thing to talk about is how we all disagree with the scoring.

So, I hope I find out Sunday morning that Garcia stopped him. Because I sure as hell won't be watching live. I'll never sit thru another mind numbingly dull Haney fight again.

Haney rehydrated to 165 for the Prograis fight per CSAC. I’ll be throwing a small bet on Garcia by KO

If I didn't have questions about Devins chin then I think Garcia would have absolutely no chance at winning.
But as much of a fan of Devins as I am I really think his chin is not that good and he is so fast and talented that he has been able to mask it for the most part.
I would not be surprised if Ryan does catch and hurt Devin- I would be shocked if Ryan could take advantage of it and win.

Haney might actually score his first ko in what, 6 years?
