Devin Miles Haney vs. Ryan García Quesada

Probably...the Queen is scared to get hit as he's shown in his last two fights. It's weird because when he throws a punch, he leaves his chin on the other side of the ring. He's like Rhonda Rousey now. His confidence is shattered and he's doubting himself. He thought he was good fighting all these C-level fighters, and when he stepped up the comp, he got KTFO. So he's going to get one last big payday and then disappear while laughing all the way to the bank.

 

My famed boxing match evaluator (BME) has calculated a 90% chance of a Haney UD win, and a 10% chance
of Garcia KO'ing Haney with a left hook beyond the 8th round. Haney has been wobbled; he can be taken out.
But he can also box well enough that Garcia Quesadilla would barely touch him.

 

Haney by KO would not surprise me at the least. This fight is all 'show'.

 

Garcia has a punchers chance, but my money is on a Haney UD. Haney will outbox Garcia.

 

If we're talking strictly about boxing ability I think Haney is a tier one boxer in all of boxing his job footwork combinations and ability to utilize the jab fight from all ranges makes him elite I think he gives everybody from 140 all the way to 154 problems

 

Ryan has his chance when Haney was his mandatory years back but declined the fight with him, that let's you know everything & perhaps Ryan's now realizing that he really might not be what he claimed & is pushing for the moolah gusto trying to cash out as much as possible before time runs out.

 

Yeah that's a good observation & I could see it playing out similarly.

What's funny is how if looks like Ryan's chest is tatted but it's just a shirt underneath plus this would be the first time I knew of a guy named Miles that is Islamic hahaha.

 

Ryan Garcia had an enormous volume of amateur fights and some good wins. I don't know the full story but I imagine he had some early backing?

I haven't been paying much attention to boxing for a while, but am interested in this bout. Just watched the ep.3 of the promotion, and have to say - Haney looks fluid, rapid and switched on, while Garcia, whom I like, look extraordinarily slow for a fighter with a reputation as a quick handed fighter.

If that footage is reflective of where they are - I think Haney takes this. If Garcia is on drugs, and yes Oscar De La Hoya is that ruthless and could sell him down the drain (I think he did it to Fransisco Bajado before) to either be rid of a pest or for future favours from Team Haney.

I hope I'm wrong.
