And there were people who believed Haney should move up to 147 and pick the belts there.

Now imagine Crawford or Boots vs Haney - it would be a destruction.

No chance he outweighed Haney by 15 pounds. Haney was probably somewhere in the 155-160 range, Garcia wasn't 175 pounds. They were probably similar in weight.

A welterweight beat a junior welterweight.

Haney draining himself to make weight as opposed to Garcia not draining made a huge difference in the fight.

But I still can't believe Garcia got past the whole crazy routine to be able to perform for 12 rounds.

Haney had to fight someone bigger, stronger and faster than himself for a change, but if Garcia did drop those last 3.2 pounds who knows how different the fight could have been.

IB FunFact: Haney is the first undefeated opponent García has beaten in his pro career.

How Garcia had a point taken but Devin Haney didn't I don't know. The amount of holding Haney did was ridiculous.

Yes the ref was incredibly biased towards Haney. He was quick to deduct a point from Garcia but Haney was holding like an octopus all night and Dock did nothing.

It's beautiful thing to watch Haney get humiliated and exposed but also because E-Hearn is going to be gutted

Listen to Claressa and Porter making excuses about the weight. She said Ryan looked ''way bigger than Haney'' lol. No he didn't you liar. Haney comes in at 165 bare minimum, much bigger than Ryan.

Funny how we didn't hear a peep from her about size and weight when Haney had a 20lb weight advantage and near six inch reach advantage over Loma and a freaking 36 hour weigh in. That was a fight between a natural huge 147 pounder and a natural 126 pounder

I agree it was super unprofessional for Ryan to miss weight and he does pay for that somewhat as he doesn't get the title. I just don't believe size was the factor in Ryan's win as Haney is far from a small "140".

I think it was more like she doesn't think there should be a rematch cause Haney got whooped.
