He won't be even remotely comfortable, Ryan walks him down and KO's him with a looping left hook to the ribs.

It's funny as I always think of Davis as the wilder of the lower divisions.

I don't mean technically but the fact that he can look down right awful until he doesn't.

    Has very good IQ though.

Garcia is similar in this regard with explosiveness but seems to let fighters off the hook when he has them in serious trouble and doesn't have the IQ of Davis.

lopez is crazy unpredictable and you never know what you are getting. Seems to have a weakness against counter punches. They seem to be his kryptonite.

Seems to relish being the underdog but goes to **** when he isn't.

Lopez v Garcia would be mad interesting cus Lopez would probably be underdog I think and will probably show up.

    Anyway night all.

Garcia says he can't make 140 any more.

When I meant comfortable I meant at that weight. When have we seen Shakur get hit clean? Ryan also doesnt have the stamina to walk his opponents down the whole fight. It’s only when he hurts his opponent and gets an adrenaline boost.

Though I will say, since Shakur doesn’t have power, Ryan does do better against opponents like this since they don’t make him pay for his recklessness.

Anyways I’m shocked Ryan today. If this was the Campbell Ryan I wouldn’t be shocked, but this was an overweight Ryan who had no conditioning and clearly has far worse mental issues.

Ryan would have to be the favourite.

From my POV, they looked like they weighed the same. Haney didn't seem to have much respect for Ryan's supposed weight advantage since he was very willing to back him up in the middle rounds.

We gotta make this fight happen. Ryan is a star and should only fight big fights.

Damn I put money on Haney decision, Haney by DQ and Ryan by KO and lost $330.

    Guess you took my money

You're wrong on just about every count, Sukuna.

Haney is a highly skilled boxer.

There are not five more skilled boxers in the game right now.

He has two handicaps though, and unfortunately for him, both are mainly beyond his control

    He lacks a decent chin.
    He doesn't pack much power.

Most of the greats had one or the other.

    Having both is even better.

Sadly for Devon, he's missing both.

    But he can box.

Nah, no way was Ryan over 160 tonight. Probably wasn´t even 160.
But he was bigger than usual, otherwise he would have made the weight easily.

It could be the Ryan had to cut more than 10lbs for the first time in his life and just said "**** it". Because it sucks cutting more than 10. Even 10 is a pain in the ass. I have done it and re-hydrating so much sucks.
I don´t get how guys like Chavez Jr. have the mental fortitude to cut aka dehydrate 20lbs while slacking off in the gym. I just don´t get it, but I digress.
If I were to guess, Ryan was about 155.

Tonight proved what a lot of us already knew and that is unless Haney has a huge size advantage he will come undone he is not built for war.
