Listen to me, I am outsider I mainly follow heavyweight and cruiserweight. I dont have much knowledge except watching 2 matches, and I dont know what category is that, lightweight or light middleweight. Lomachenko vs Haney - where I wondered why Haney won, but whatever Ryan Garcia vs Tank Davis - where Garcia quit like Dubois, Garcia gave me impression like he is a showman, not a fighter, and I saw some intervies about his drug addiction, and boy is clearly a mental case or a oscar deserving actor. But if Haney is supposed "champ" he vacated his class, and went to Garcias class, so he a double class champ. And This Ryan dominated him, droped him numerous time. WHat the hell? Also, WBC belt? What the hell, why is it not in Ryan Garcias hand, how can you beat a champ and not take his belt.
I mean if you follow cruiser you should know too that if you come in over the limit the belts aren’t on the line for you. If there was no punishment everyone would come in overweight.
LoL, I did not know that. But why would Haney accept the fight then? I mean 3 lbs is not that much, irelevant weight.
Considering you admit you are clueless, here's some quick education. Garcia did not quit against Davis. That's exactly what the right body shot does to you, they paralyze you and force you down. Haney isn't a "fake champ", he fought someone that did not make weight. This fight shouldn't have happened in the first place.
Because it’s a huge money fight and also Ryan had to pay him like a mill or something for coming in overweight. I usually would condemn a fighter for coming in overweight but context is key here. I don’t think ryan premeditatedly came in overweight. Dude was out of shape and has mental issues.
