In like an all time ranking with their HW accomplishments factored in? 1) Rocky 2) Holyfield 3) Vitali 4) Bowe H2H basis… 1) Vitali 2) Bowe 3) Marciano 4) Evan Fields
Marciano Holy Joshua Bowe Vitklit Sorry, but Bowe was two fights, arguably one since the second Holy fight was post-heart attack.
Holy/Rocky AJ Bowe/Vitali Based strictly on achievements, if we're talking H2H I would probably put Bowe at the top as he beat Holy 2/3.
Achievements wise 1. Holyfield 2. Marciano 3. Joshua 4. Bowe 5. Vitali Holyfield imo has the strongest resume by a wide margin, and was a 4 time champion Marciano is the only heavyweight champ to retire undefeated and has a somewhat underrated resume. Retired on top Joshua is a two time champ and has beaten a solid amount of top guys in this era. His ranking may be higher or lower once his career is over. Bowe has maybe the single best win here, his win over Holyfield, but his resume is pretty weak outside of that. Fought in maybe the strongest heavyweight era yet still has a relatively thin resume Vitali lost to the two best guys he fought, though to his credit you can put an asterisk next to both of those losses. Outside of those fights his resume is weak. H2H 1. Vitali 2. Bowe 3. Holyfield 4. Joshua 5. Marciano I think Vitali goes undefeated against this line up. His combination of size, toughness, and stamina proves too much for the others imo. Bowe already beat Holyfield when they were both closest to their bests. He's big, tough and relentless like Vitali but is very hittable and can be hurt (Vitali could be hurt aswell, but he stood up to bigger shots from a bigger puncher than Bowe ever faced) . I think he'd be too big for Marciano and his stamina probably too good for Joshua. I reckon Vitali outboxes him at range though. Holyfield is the most skilled fighter here I'd say, but he's also pretty small. I'm not sure if he could overcome that size disadvantage against Vitali, but him beating Bowe with a gameplan akin to their second fight isn't inconceivable. I think he'd probably be too relentless for Joshua and too skilled for Rocky. Joshua I think may just be capable of beating everybody on the list except maybe Vitali, but I need to see him against the likes of Fury, Wilder/Zhang and some other guys before I could put him above them. I think he could beat Bowe similarly to how Golota did and beat Holy similar to how Lewis did, but he could also get overwhelmed. Again, his ranking may change once his career is over Marciano would unfortunately prove too small and crude for the others I think. Fought in a smaller heavyweight era. I just can't see him standing up to Vitali Bowe or Joshua and he wouldn't have the skill to outbox them like a Holyfield would. His best chance would be against Holyfield but I think a prime Holyfield would've been the best opponent he fought. Could replicate the success of Charles except he's bigger and more durable and would be in his prime unlike Ez.
